Replacement Rollers For Wobble Rollers To Eliminate Marks and Gauging In The Boat Hull

Question:

Hello, I am wanting to take away these wobble rollers and add some bunks under the hull. Will these double slotted bunk brackets be ok in the section I have identified where I want to make them? Boat weighs about 5100 empty plus fuel and gear. Rear wobble rollers will still be in place for awhile supporting the rear of the boat. Just tired of the current wobble rollers up front leaving marks and gauging fiberglass. Thanks!

Since your main concern is the marks on the hull of your boat I recommend going to the Yates TPR Ribbed Wobble Roller. These rollers are constructed of thermal-plasticized rubber which is a non-marking, non-scratching material. It is stronger and more durable than traditional rubber while being softer and more pliant than polyurethane. You will need to find your shaft size to find the correct 5" Rollers. If you have a different size roller let me know what size it is and I can help you find the correct rollers.

5/8" Shaft # YR500YW-5P
3/4" Shaft # YR500YW-6P
7/8" Shaft # YR500YW-7P
1" Shaft # YR500YW-8P
1-1/8" Shaft # YR500YW-9P
1-1/4" Shaft # YA72FR

If you rather go to the Bunk Boards # CE27845 you will need to determine the correct height for the CE Smith Double U-Bolt Bolster and Swivel Bracket Assemblies.

9-1/4" Tall Bracket # CE10190GA-4
10-1/4" Tall Bracket # CE10191GA-4
12-1/4" Tall Bracket # CE10192GA-4
16-1/4" Tall Bracket # CE10196G-4

The CE Smith U-Bolts # CE15283GA-8 are needed to attach the brackets to a 3" tall crossmember.
