Today we'll be taking a look at the Fulton 50" Boat Guide, part number FGB1500100. The Fulton boat guides are going to provide a visual cue when loading your boat on your trailer. They extend up out of the water so you can find your trailer the first time, every time. They're a simple clamp on installation with no drilling required, and all the hardware's included. The non-marring marine grade PVC will insure that your boat remains protected. It's adjustable within the brackets, so we can move it out or in, so it's going to fit a wide variety of boat holes. That that we've gone over the features we'll go ahead and show you how to get it installed.
Keep in mind everything we do on one side we're just going to repeat the same step on the other side. We've already got our back guide on in place. We're going to install some here at the front. The first thing we need to do is we're going to need our guide on. We're going to need our bottom plate, our top plate, and two U-bolts. We're going to take our bottom plate and we're going to install it in this fashion right here with our single holes towards the boat there.
We'll go underneath, put our top plate in this position here. We're going to go over the top with the U-bolts. Go in those first holes that we talked about before. Then we're going to go with the closest ones that we can, as you see there. Then we're going to loosely install our hardware on the bottom.
With that in position we're going to take our included hardware. It's going to be a lock washer and a nut, and we're going to need four of those to go on. We'll get each of those started. Now with that loosening saw let's go ahead and grab our PVC guide on. We're going to slip it in just like this, so it sits right on top of our trailer's frame. When you position this you just want to adjust it to the depth that you want.
We're going to put it about an inch away from our boat, and then we can tighten it the rest of the way down. Now we're using 9/16 socket wrench to get that tightened down. What you want to do is you want to alternate in between so you can a nice even fit. That's pretty secure. Last thing we need to do is turn our attention to our end cap here. We want to make sure that our end cap stays in place, so the kit comes with two screws so we can do so. We're going to drill a pilot hole on either side, and then put those in. We'll take out included screws and we'll put those in place. With both guide ons installed that's going to pretty much do it. That's going to complete our look at the Fulton 50" boat guide, part number FGB1500100.

Visually guide your boat onto your trailer with Fulton's easy-to-use, easy-to-install boat guide. Adjustable to provide the best fit for any hull design. For trailer frames up to 3" x 5".Works great with my 19’ sailboat which I frequently launch and retrieve in strong crosswinds and currents. Holding up great. Wish i had bought them 15 years ago
Great product ! Very easy installation.
Very quick arrival. Excellent experience with etrailer.com
Good customer service follow up!!! Thank you!!
excellent item a perfect fit on my boat trailer thanks
PRODUCT IS VERY EASY TO INSTALL AND IS ADJUSTABLE. IT IS A VERY GOOD PRODUCT. FAST SHIPPING AS ALWAYS
Ok for the money but a bit flimsy. I would recommend spending a few $ more for the guides where the pvc pipe pushes on to a galvanized steel mount, as I expect they would be sturdier than this all pvc guide.
Amazing. I wasn't able to trailer my boat by myself before, and now with these attachments I don't need any help putting the boat back on the trailer
Installation took 2 people and a deep socket ratchet wrench, but WOW!
I've struggled for 20 years to get my boat on, with 2-3 tries each time I take it out of the water.
The first time I tried it with the guides, it slipped right into place the first time!
I'm thrilled!
These guys are always great! I've ordered several times from etrailer and everything has always shipped promptly, arrived on time or early and most importantly, always the right stuff!
Great product, was easy to install and seems sturdy, the shipping was lightning fast. Thank you.
The products I ordered came in one shipment and arrived earlier than I expected.
I will use etrailer again in the future for all my trailer needs.
Good job!
I received my order in record time. I installed the guides on my boat lift and everything went perfect. My neighbor is impressed.
Prompt courteous efficient service and delivery!!! Highly recommend etrailer.com to my friends!!
seem to work satisfactorily--caps came off on first and second trip, so should have some way of securing them--not necessary for function, cosmetic!!
Great
As advertised
These worked like they said they would. Easy to mount, not much else to say...
Was easy to install.
Has held-up go od
I am on my second set of these...They are durable enough, but when a tire blows, or you catch the side of gate, it can snap the guide off...
Fits well and easy to install.
Product was exactly what I wanted, good quality and super fast shipping. Very pleased customer, I will be back. Thanks
this product works great
Highly recommended for boats 20 foot and under.
Good fit. NOTE: hardware is not Galvanized. Might last a year in saltwater.
