Can boat trailer lights be mounted on the PVC 50 tall poles ? I use my boat in the winter and when putting boat in, the ICE breaks the trailer lights.

You can certainly mount lights on the poles, however if the lights you choose pick up their ground connection through the mounting studs, you will need to run a jumper wire from one of the mounting studs on each lamp to the trailer frame to complete the ground circuit.
