Ideas For Installing Fulton Boat Guides On 2010 Tracker Boat Trailer With Steps Running Along Frame

I have a 2010 tracker double axle trailer with steps at the rear in . How do you connect the brackets? The only way I think is to drill through the steps but I don’t think this is an option for me

The Fulton Boat Guides # FGB1500100 you were looking at for your 2010 Tracker Tandem Axle Boat Trailer are designed to fit trailer frames up to 3" wide x 5" tall so your steps on the side of the frame will cause the included mounting brackets to not fit.

We do not have another style of guides that will fit around the steps, but since the PVC guides are not actually designed to touch the boat you can get some clamps and drill through the bottom of the step and hold to hold the guides secure.

If that is not something you are willing to do a local fabrication shop can easily make you some customer brackets to fit around your steps and not require drilling.
