Hi everybody, my name is Andy with etrailer.com, and today we're taking a look at Water Dragon underwater blue LED light. If you're looking to replace or maybe even add some LED lights to your boat, this might be a good option for you to consider. Let's take a closer look at this light. Now this LED underwater light, as you can see, has three diodes and those diodes are going to provide a bright blue light for your boat. Let me give you a brief demonstration of what this looks like. I've hooked it up to some power here, and as you can see those diodes light up nice and bright, and that's with my overhead lights on in the studio.

Let me shut those lights off. And as you can see, blue's my favorite color, so I'm partial to this color in particular, so I think this looks really great. And for those three diodes, it lights up my studio pretty well, sorry for the profile there. And I'm just shining this up here on my walls. So that kind of gives you an idea of just the brightness and the range.

These are going to be premium LED lights, and they are gonna be water resistant and vibration resistant. Let me go ahead and give you just an idea of what that looks like with my overhead lights on before I shut this off. So again, I think you're gonna be really pleased with the brightness of these three diodes. Now, these diodes in this LED light are going to last you a long time. Obviously they are going to last longer than incandescent bulbs.

And the overall output of these LED lights are gonna be 375 lumens. So you're gonna be getting 375 lumens on the light output of this light. And the LEDs themselves are going to be sealed in a waterproof housing with this clear impact-resistant lens unit. So that's going to be, those diodes are gonna be nice and secure in there. The circuit board inside is of a military grade construction, so again, very rugged, very durable.

And then the urethane potting on the inside is gonna offer you better protection than the common epoxy potting and controlling the heat transfer inside the light. There are thermal safeguards against overheating. So you're not gonna, I mean, even though this light may get warm, you're not gonna have to worry about it overheating, which is very nice. This is a very durable plastic housing. So again, it just adds to the strength of this light. This is gonna be compatible with 12 volt DC systems. This is a surface mount installation, as you can see, but it does not include any installation or mounting hardware, so be aware of that. Again, this is a two-wire hardwire installation. So the white wire is going to be your power and the black wire is going to be your ground. Let me give you some overall measurements here. The overall length of this light is gonna be sitting right at 3 7/8 inches long. And then the width of the light is gonna be right at about an inch and 3/8. And then the thickness, we're gonna be sitting right at about 5/8 inch thick, thereabouts, and then the distance between the mounting holes, line that up here for you real quick, we're gonna be sitting right at about 3 1/4 inches in between those two holes. Just giving you an idea of the distance there. Again, the light output's gonna be 375 lumens. The input voltage is gonna be 9 volts to 14 volts, and the power draw is gonna be .27 to .33 amps. The wire here at the end is going to give you 36 inches and this light does have a limited lifetime warranty. Now, again, this is a blue LED light.
