Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this TecNiq Eon Waterproof Warm White LED Boat Accent Light. Now, this LED light will provide a nice warm white light for your boat, so it's great for upgrading or replacing accent lightings, step lighting, walkway, or underwater lighting. It is a nice sealed waterproof housing and lens unit, has an IP68 rating, and it's a durable polycarbonate housing with a UV resistant lens, and it uses a clear lens over three warm white LEDs. Now, at the end of this video, I am going to connect this light to some 12 volt power just to show you how bright the light is, but I first wanna go over some of the features. They do use premium LEDs, which are energy efficient, long lasting, and vibration resistant, they are rated for up to 50,000 hours of operation.

They do use military grade construction of a circuit board on this light, it uses urethane potting, which gives you better protection than the common epoxy potting, and this is compatible with 12 volt DC systems. Now, to install this light, it is a surface mount installation, it will mount using a protective horizontal or vertical mounting cover, which we do sell separately on our website, and they are listed on this product page as a related product. Now, the hardware to install that cover is not included, it will require two screws to mount it. Now, if you use the vertical cover, it will emit a 70 degree beam when mounted in the vertical cover, and if you use the 90 degree or the horizontal cover, it will emit a 90 degree beam when it's mounted in the horizontal cover. As you can see, the two wires here, hardwires to your application, has a power and a ground wire, the wire length is about nine inches.

A few specs on this, give you the measurement, the length of the light is 2 1/8 inches, the height of it is 5/8 of an inch, and the depth is also 5/8 of an inch. The light output on this is a 150 lumens, input voltage of 9 volts to 14 volts. And what we're gonna do now is go ahead and hook it up, so you can see how bright it is. Once we have it all hooked up, I'll go ahead and turn on the power. And then with the power on, you can see there's your warm white LEDs, and you can see there's three of them, they are very bright.

Gives off a very bright light, 150 lumens. And what I'm gonna do is sort of zoom out just to get you from a distance the amount of light or area it covers. I'll go ahead and zoom back in. Turn back on our overhead lights. Turn off our power.
