Hi everybody. My name is Andy with etrailer.com. And today we're taking a look at the Water Dragon Underwater, green LED light. If you are looking to replace some underwater LED lights on your boat, or maybe you're even looking to add those kinds of lights to your boat, this might be a good option for you to consider. Let's take a closer look at it together. Now, this LED underwater light, as you can see has 12 diodes and those diodes are going to provide a very nice, a very bright green light for your boat.
Let me give you an idea of what those diodes look like. And so I have attached it to a power source here, and as you can see, it's nice and green. It's very bright even with my overhead lights on. And let me go ahead and turn my studio lights off. And as you can see, it really has a nice green glow, very bright.
Let me go for more of a wide angle here. And the light is so bright. It reflects off my white table and it's, you can almost see my face and see me, and just kinda shine this here on my back wall, not the most flattering profile there, I know. Now, these are very premium LEDs and they're going to be very vibration resistant, resistant to vibrations. And also they're gonna be very long lasting.
I'm gonna go ahead, keep this light on, turn my studio lights back on. And as you can see, even with my overhead lights, this has a very, very high output on it. So a few other specifications about this, let me turn this off so I'm not blinding you anymore. The circuit board is made out of a military grade construction, and so this is gonna be very durable and it's going to be very rugged and take quite a bit of punishment. The light output is going to be 5,500 lumens.
And as you can see, the diodes are sealed in a waterproof housing, and they're gonna be behind a clear impact resistant lens unit. The urethane potting offers better protection than the common epoxy potting in controlling the heat transfer inside the light and holding onto this light here while it was turned on for a minute or so, it does get warm, but warm to the touch, but with the, the way that they have engineered this, it is not going to overheat. There's thermal protection safeguards against overheating on this, in this light. So that's gonna be a nice feature with this light. The housing itself is constructed out of a durable die-cast aluminum. And then as you can see, this cover is stainless steel specifically it's 316 stainless steel. And what that means for you is, this cover is going to be more resistant to pitting and corrosion, and it really does offer an attractive cover for this light. So it's gonna look great on your boat. This is compatible with 12 volt and 24 volt DC systems. And as you can see with the holes on either side, this is a surface mount installation. I do need to tell you that this does not come with included hardware to install. So you would have to secure that locally. And, it also hardwires to your application. So you're gonna, it's a two wire installation. The green wire is gonna be power and the black wire is going to be ground. Now, let me go ahead and give you some measurements, so you can see how big this light is. And if this is gonna work for your boat. As I hold this together, the overall length of this light is right under six inches. It's gonna be sitting right at about five and seven eighths inches long, the overall length. The overall width of this light and the cover does flare out, just ever so slightly. So, I'm trying to take that into consideration here. At its widest point, we're going to be sitting at about two and a quarter inches wide, and then the overall thickness, we're gonna be sitting roughly, five eights of an inch or so with the overall thickness. Now, if I haven't mentioned already, this is going to be 5,500 lumens on the light output. An important measurement here, that I almost forgot to give you is going to be the distance with the mounting, mounting holes here. Let me see if I can get that lined up. Those mounting holes are going to be about four and three quarters inches apart. So there, it again gives you an idea of the measurement of those mounting holes. Now, the input voltage on this is going to be 9 volts to 30 volts. And the power draw is gonna be 2.25 to 2.75 amps. And as you can see, the included wire, that's gonna be 36 inches long, and this light does have a limited lifetime warranty. So again, this is a green underwater light with 12 diodes. If you're looking for a similar light, but you're looking for a different color, we do carry the white version of this. They would be white LED lights. You can find that on our website, item number TN64RR or if you would prefer to have blue in this, in this type of light, you can find the blue one, item number TN74RR. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today at Water Dragons Underwater, green LED light. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..

The website pictures do not give the lights justice. Much better quality than I had anticipated. Looking forward to turning them on underwater. Thank you
