Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this LED Step Light and this is gonna provide a nice, bright white light for your boats and docks. It's gonna be great for upgrading or replacing a step, walkway, accent or courtesy light. And you can see it does have that 45 degree angle. So it is going to offer a downward facing light to illuminate the area below. This does have a sealed, waterproof, chrome housing and a UV resistant lens unit.

So it's got an IP rating of 68. So it is gonna be safe to use around your waterways and anywhere that it could potentially be exposed to water, it will hold up well for you. As far as our measurements go, this is right at, 1 and 7/8, I could get that out of the way, so you can see that a little bit better. 1 and 7/8, just shy of 2 inches wide. Our height is going to be approximately, 13/16, just shy of 7/8.

And then our depth, we're looking at, again, right at 13/16 of an inch. Get that all lined up there, just over 3 quarters of an inch. This does have a single premium LED that is going to be very energy efficient, long lasting and vibration resistant. That's only gonna draw about .11 to .14 amps. It's rated for up to 100,000 hours of operation.

And it does provide that nice 150 lumen output, sorry, 115 lumen output. All right, so it's gonna be a nice, bright light, as you can see, provides plenty for you. As you're walking down the path, make sure that your footing is gonna be on the path, you're not gonna step on anything unpleasant. This does have a military grade construction of the circuit board. So it is gonna hold up really well for you.

The urethane potting offers a better protection than your common epoxy potting. So all your connections are gonna stay mounted and ready for you. You're not gonna have to worry about them wiggling free. This is designed to be a surface mount installation. So you can see, we do have 2 screw holes here that are going to allow us to mount this in place. The hardware is not included. You just use a couple of screws there. There's also a protective cover that is sold separately. If you want to pop that on top there to give it more of a finished look. But this will hard wire to your 12 volt DC systems. It's got 9 inches of wire there. So plenty to get connected to the 12 volt DC system. This does meet or exceed the FMVSS 108 Standards. So you can trust it is gonna do a great job for you.
