Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Blue Mini LED Accent Light. Now, this accent light can be used as an upgrade or a replacement for your boats and docks, whether it's replacing a step light, a walkway, accent, or courtesy light, this is gonna do a great job providing a nice bright blue light. It is also sealed and waterproof, it's got a polycarbonate housing and a UV resistant lens unit that are sealed, so that you're not gonna have to worry about water getting in there and causing any issues for you. It's got an IP rating of 68, so again, it's gonna be great for your boats and docks or other applications that are close to water, where you could potentially get wet. It is nice and small, compact sized, so you can see our overall width there just over an inch, we'll call it 1 1/8 of an inch wide by approximately 3/8 of an inch tall, and right about half an inch thick.

What you can see, we do have these three light-emitting diodes that are going to be premium LEDs that are very energy efficient, long-lasting, and vibration resistant, and those three LEDs provide 120 lumens. So if I turn off the lights in the studio here, you can kinda see that blue color a little bit better, and then if I go back to my wide shot, you can kinda see throughout my studio how bright this really is. Especially, if you're just using this to light up a walkway or a steps, you'll definitely have enough light, so that you can safely see where you're stepping. This does have a clear high clarity lens that provides 180 degrees of linear lighting, so you'll be nice and bright with that blue color there, so that you can make sure that you're gonna step on the path and not twist an ankle or anything like that. This does have a military grade circuit board construction, so they used a urethane potting instead of the common epoxy potting, so it's gonna be more resilient for you and better protect your circuit board, and it is designed to be installed in a surface mount installation.

There is a protective cover that is sold separately, if you're wanting to kinda give it a finished look, you can add that onto your cart. But this does have seven inches of wire here, and you can see it is a two wire system, so our black is gonna be our ground, and our blue is our lead wire. This will hard-wire right into your 12 volt DC systems, very simple to do. It's only gonna draw about 0.07 to 0.09 amps, so very energy efficient in providing that nice bright blue light for you.
