Hi, there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Yakima replacement body. This is gonna replace the body for your Yakima Hitchlock Bike Rack Lock. This is going to work with the model of bike rack lock that you see on the screen there. So this is gonna be an exact replacement from Yakima, so you can trust it is gonna fit right in place of that original.
Gonna be compatible with your Yakima bike racks, so no worries about fit issues or compatibility problems or anything like that. Now, this does not include the SKS lock core or keys. Replaces the body for your Yakima HitchLock bike rack lock. SKS lock core and keys are sold separately.Part arrived quickly and it worked fine. Since I needed one specific lock core this worked best for me although more expensive than one would think considering how small a lock core and hitch lock.
Housing was shipped with an SKS core in it with an unknown key code. Tried removing with core removal key, and discovered lock is in locked position.
So I cleverly lost one of those. I don't even know its name, just that I lost it. It's the lock that goes on the trailer hitch pin to prevent removing the bike rack. Easy to lose, but that's Yakima's fault, not etrailer's. I've dealt with etrailer before and have been completely happy, but I could not find this part on etrailer, just an entire kit. I emailed them and described what I needed and they got right back and said sure, and now it's got its own listing on our website, and gave me a link. They pointed me to the part, a new lock core and a master key. I ordered the parts, got a quick delivery, and the new lock core and rekeying was push pull click click. I am a happy customer!
etrailer helped get my Yakima bike rack back in working order. I called several times and they helped me get the right parts to get everything right.
Lost my original trailer pin lock due to my error. After looking for the correct lock, correct keying, and a control key, I ended up with three orders. Dianna at etrailer canceled the three orders, and saved me the shipping charges. Great service, the parts all work, and I got everything in less than a week. Great company and great service.

Great product. Solid, functional, reliable and oh so dignified with it's matte black finish with cast gray metal accents. Yakima does a fine job of maintaining and providing accessories for their racks. Etrailer does a fine job communicating and purveying their wares.

Do you recall what your key number was? I can give you part numbers for both the same key number or a brand-new key number.
Worked out great! I used it with my Thule hitch pin because the Yakima one was too to fit on my car. This interfaced with the Thule hitch pin just fine and turned the lock 90 degrees so I could lock and unlock it.
My order arrived sooner than I expected. Etrailer prices were cheaper than the other places I checked
As always with Yakima products, the quality of the item is first-rate.
Also very pleased with etrailer as a vendor -- didn't charge cc until item was in stock/shipped, and kept me informed of progress at all stages.

It was the exact replacement piece I needed. Unfortunately I need the new hitch bolt, too.
Just what I was expecting since it was a replacement.
I'm into locking everything and this is added security for my Yakima Longarm.
I knew it would be difficult to receive my items during a pandemic, but thanks to etrailer, the order was as expected.
Item arrived quickly and for a good price. One thing about this item though is that you need to make sure it is on the bolt securely. I’ve already lost one of these because it wasn’t all the way on and fell off while I was driving. Pull on it once you like it to make sure it does not come off
