I’m not sure this was the vendors fault, but this part did not work for my rack. This locking mechanism was too small and ineffective for my roof rack and worthless to me.

These keys are meant to be replacements for the Yakima Rack and Roll trailer. You mentioned that they did not work for your roof rack so I wanted to clarify if you have a Yakima roof rack? It would take different keys if you do.

Since you do not know your lock core/key number, the best option is going to be to replace the entire lock core with the Replacement Lock Core and Keys for Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer # 8880553 (S307) or # 8880551 (S305). As long as your lock is unlocked you can use the Replacement Control Key for Yakima Same Key System # Y8007835 to remove your current lock core and install the new one. I took a look at what we have for your Yakima Rack And Roll Trailer # Y08106 & # Y08107, and I was able to find the: -Replacement Lock Core and Keys for Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer # 8880551 for key S305, and the, -Replacement Lock Core and Keys for Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer # 8880553 for key S307. Both of these cores will work with the # Y08106, and # Y08107 Rack And Roll Trailers, and includes the 1 lock core and 2 keys. As far as a T-bone attachment, I wasn't able to find anything...

Will a Yakima Lock Core Fit in Place of a Saris or Sears Lock Core
Lock cores are not interchangeable among the different manufacturers. You would need a Saris lock core which, to see if you can get, would require contacting Saris directly. They currently do not make replacement cores available as replacement parts. The same goes for the lock on your Sears cargo box. That cargo box is made by Thule so if you need a replacement key use # THKEYN2854.
