Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Surco replacement bottom ladder section. I'm gonna go ahead and lay this down on my table and we're gonna have an overhead look at it. Now, this is going to replace the bottom ladder section for your Surco Exterior RV Ladder. And on your screen I do have a picture of that ladder and the model number of that ladder for your reference.
And again, this is going to replace that bottom section of that ladder. And this includes this one section here for that lower portion. And this is going to install by sliding this section into the upper section of that ladder. And it's going to be secured with the original hardware that came with your ladder. Now, this section is exactly like the one that you are needing to replace.
This is the direct replacement from Surco. So what that means for you is you can trust that it's going to fit right in place of the original. You're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues, fitment issues, or anything like that. Replaces the bottom section for your Surco exterior RV ladder (SP502L).I used this to replace the bottom section of the ladder on my Keystone Cougar. The previous ladder had been abused due to sloppy parking. Although this wasn't an exact match and the rungs are spaced differently this was a cost effective way to fix my broken ladder

Fine. No problems. Installation was a challenge but not the fault of the ladder. The mounting holes didnt match the original ones, but nobody said they would. Items change over time.
