Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the replacement ladder support peg for Stromberg Carlson RV exterior ladders. The aluminum ladder support peg or standoff replaces one support peg for your motor home's exterior ladder. The assembly is designed for use with a Stromberg Carlson exterior ladder. It's black in color. Again, it's made from durable aluminum construction so you don't have to worry about rust or corrosion. It's got the mounting plate right here, held in place with a screw.
And then right here you have the fitted portion also held in place with a screw.Now the fitted portion is like a thick plastic when it comes to the construction. The height is 12 inches. And I do want to point out that this unit can be trimmed as needed to best fit your application.That's going to do it for today's look at the replacement ladder support peg for Stromberg Carlson RV exterior ladders.

Mike was a pleasure to work with. The first package was damaged and not accepted. Mike took care of it immediately and reshipped another set of items. This package was delivered in even worse codition but all the parts were ther so it was accepted. etrailer was great during this process but UPS definately needs some retraining on how they handle packages.

- Do I need a New Star Nut When Trimming the Replacement Ladder Support Peg 8531-BIf you cut the replacement ladder support part # 8531-B down to 5-1/2 inches you do not need a new expansion nut. You can remove the plastic cap from the peg, push the star shaped nut down (pictured in the photo) and cut the peg. Then replace the plastic cap.

If the ladder or any part of it was bent I recommend replacing it on the grounds of safety issues. Once aluminum is bent it looses a large amount of structural integrity.
