What's up everybody it's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're going to check out this Valterra Ceiling Vent Register on our 2016 Winnebago Spirit. What's nice about this vent is you can move it around and push the air where you need it the most. So whether it's heating or cooling, you can direct that air wherever you're sitting in any of these chairs. Just spin it around if you want more or less, or you can even just close the vent and you don't have to worry about it. This is going to be white in color.
You can spin vents in a 360 degrees. You can angle them back and forth, like I said, to adjust or push that air wherever you want it. I also like that it has the vessel around the outside. So this covers up the screw holes underneath. So sometimes you can see them exposed and I'd rather just not see them.
So I think this has a cleaner look with it covered up. Go over some measurements real quick. It's going to be 5 inches diameter inside here where the vent is. It's going to be 6 7/8 diameter from outside to outside there. And it's also going to fit in a 5 inch duct.
It's going to be pretty easy to install. You're just going to do a couple of screws in there to hold it up especially if you're replacing an old one just use the same mounting holes. Check out how I did it. I already removed the old vent. So we're going to put this one back up in it's place.
First thing we're going to do is peel back the cover. And that's going to expose where the screws go. So I just pull on that on the ends. Just going to easily pop off. Now you know where to put the screws. So we're going to match those up with the existing holes. Looks like they all line up. So I can start putting the screws back in. And the last step is going to be to put our cover back over. Overall, I like this replacement vent. I put this one on there. The other one was stationary. So I couldn't really turn and point the air where I wanted it. Now whether it's AC or heat, I can get that air where it's needed the most. Well I think that does it. I bought 4 of these to replace registers that cannot be closed off. These open and close but they do not rotate. I am highly disappointed.

RECEIVED THE VENTS AS ORDERED, AND VERY TIMELY. THEY FIT PERFECTLY. ONE OF THE VENTS HAD A BROKEN HINGE, SO I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WAS GREETED BY A FRIENDLY REPRESENTATIVE WHO SAID SHE WOULD SEND OUT ANOTHER VENT RIGHT AWAY. I WOULD USE ETRAILER FOR ANY ITEMS I MAY NEED FOR MY MOTORHOME.

The inside dimension on these are actually 5-1/4", not 5" as stated. We had to make larger holes in the ceiling to make them fit. That said, etrailer.com shipped them quickly.

I found these vent covers after searching for awhile. The problem I was having during the searching was correct color..there were plenty of white but no light beige until I checked etrailer… next time etrailer will be the first choice! Easy order and very fast ship!

I made the vents work. I was looking to enlarge my existing vents that only had a collar 1/4in deep. These vents were 7/8" deep and large enough, exactly what I needed to finish the project. The service is great and will use Etrailer again

- Troubleshooting A Rotating Valterra RV Vent Ceiling Register That Won't Rotate It sounds to me like the cutout hole is a bit too tight and is pinching the base in, not allowing the inner ring with the shutters to spin. If you're saying that you're testing it before even placing it in the cutout hole and can't get it to spin then it might just be a manufacturer defect. I've installed the # A10-3360VP before and it was super easy to spin in place. If you are trying to spin it while it's outside of the cutout hole and you're having this issue then I would contact Valterra...

- Recommended 1/4" Locking Pin For A Curt Pintle Hook # C48231After looking through all of the 1/4" locking pins we carry, I believe the etrailer Adjustable Trailer Coupler Latch Lock # e98883 will be the best option for locking your Curt Pintle Hook # C48231. The span is adjustable to 1/2", 1", 1-1/2", 2", or 2-1/2". The 2" span will be as close as we can get to 1-7/8". That will be your best bet for a lock that will be more flush up against the side of the pintle hook.

If you would like more of a light brown color, I recommend the light beige if you wanted a darker white tone I recommend the medium white. I recommend to take a look at the two videos I have attached because they depict their true colors.
