Bring sophisticated elegance with you wherever you go! The wine cooler built into this fridge will be the talk of the campground with bamboo shelves and a clear glass door. With a preset temperature of 55 degrees Fahrenheit, your favorite wine is always ready when you are for a great night with friends or a relaxing lunch by the lake. This does cut down on your fridge storage, but with the adjustable shelves and crisper bin, you can still fit a good amount of groceries. The freezer compartment has 2 doors with 4 drawers on each side, so if you like to keep everything organized, then you are going to love this feature. You can see everything, day or night, with the automatic LED lights in the fridge and wine cooler, which is great for late night snacking.
It doesn't matter if you are replacing your non-working refrigerator or are just ready for an upgrade for your RV kitchen, you have a few things to consider before making that purchase. Most original RV refrigerators use propane for absorption cooling, while this Furrion model uses 110V directly from AC power. Absorption refrigerators can be hard to fix, don't have a dedicated defrost cycle, and take a long time to cool down, but they run on propane which is great when you don't have electricity.
The 110V refrigerators require little maintenance, most have an auto defrost cycle, and they can cool in as little as 1 hour. They're also safer because they use a compressor instead of propane, which allows it to cool down 4 times faster while avoiding safety risks associated with propane such as fires, gas leaks, and explosions. The downside is that you have to have the proper battery bank or invest in solar. If you don't, you could drain your batteries in as little as 1 night of dry camping.

There is still plenty of fridge and freezer space for an upscale yet functional addition to your kitchen on the road. Easy plug-in installation. This was a hands down no brainer purchase. For my RV, it was a perfect fit in existing opening just had to remove lower drawer and frame.
Only regret, I purchased the stainless when a black would look so much better in my coach.
We are not full timers, I can see that this would work well because of so much freezer space, which is all drawers. Really like it in every way.
Here’s the bottom line: from my limited binge research it apears Furrion is the only ones to step up and offer a product to conceivably fit in a 32” spot where a $5,000-$6,000 propane/electric might set and need costly repairs or replacement. So for simply this they get a minimum four stars.
Still, it seems the quality might be a little lacking as my door seals were folded over and had to rotate them 180° so I got the side I didn’t have a crease memorized.
It looks like the wooden shelves were just slapped in with screws haphazardly, kind of takes away from the ambience; might as well have bubblegum hold it down in the corners. I might hijack the wires poking out at the door switch and put a secondary button that I can turn on the light, see through the glass, without opening the door. That would be kind of nice.
It’s made for an RV with 24 inch doors except for at the very bottom it’s 5/16 wider than 24 inches – Oopsie. No information on removing the doors but they came off relatively simply but I swear damn near every one of the lath screws used to hold the plastic surround were basically stripped in the sheet metal. In a hurry boys or the engineers just give you the wrong kind of screw to do the job? maybe both ????
it doesn’t seem there’s any adjustment to be hard except for side to side slop as needed, so the doors don’t align perfectly.
The information on it seems a little vague as far as what compartments are rated for what. The wine shelf looks to be limited down to 32 in the lower right (freezer?) Seems to be described also as a vegetable crisper. So I’m not sure maybe it depends on where you set the single thermostat how all four compartments differentiate. I got four thermometers for 10 bucks on order so I’ll have to map some numbers
So, yeah, at first glance it’s a good looking fridge a little scrutiny and you can see the cheapness but the same token good luck finding something else that’ll fit both in the hole where the old fridge was as well as through your RV door. My next option was to get a skinnier fridge and make some kind of haphazard wine rack with the residual gap in the prebuilt cabinets.
We didn’t have to tip it much but I still waited the 30 minutes. I’m not sure if we could’ve stood it up right with the doors on so I’m glad we pulled them off so we didn’t scratch or shatter the tempered glass scraping it through. AnyWho it’s fired right up nice and quiet as I just have it in the living room and haven’t got the hole prepared. I’ll update later if possible.
So there you have it: as near as I can tell this is your benchmark at this price point. Maybe in a few years they’ll have an ice machine built-in :-)
purchased an RV missing the factory lp electric fridge. the furrion sizes were very close to the factory fridge size that was missing. Minor wood trimming on the cabinets was required to fit. Low amperage draw for electric only. Worked great as a substitute for the factory fridge
Everything went great, early delivery, friendly delivery, called customer support and got my question answered. Thanks
Best purchase I made for my Motorhome excellent fridge I will highly recommend
