Hello again, neighbor. I'm Steven here at etrailer.com. Thank you so much for joining me when we look at this replacement hardware kit for your Stromberg Carlson RV bunk ladders. Now, this kit's gonna do just like it says, replace the hardware for your Stromberg Carlson RV bunk ladder. It may also fit other RV bunk ladders that are out there on the market that have a one inch round tube diameter, but that's not a for sure thing. So again, just know that these are made for Stromberg Carlson specifically.
Now, you are gonna get two large hooks, two small hooks, and you're gonna get all the brackets that you require as well. Very nice, sturdy construction. And you're gonna get the six screws as well. So if you're not familiar with these, basically one mounts to the wall, the other one comes in, mounts to it, and then your ladder, when your ladder's on there, these are attached to the top of the ladder and they would lock inside of that on the wall for that portable ladder. So pretty simple design, nice quality here.
Looks like everything's been powder coated as far as the black powder coat there and everything. Everything else looks like it's got a nice zinc coating on everything to keep it nice, rust resistant, and whatnot. Searched everywhere for replacement hooks that I lost on my trailer bunk ladder. Went to trailer stores in town and they told me I needed to buy a whole new ladder.
Reason for lower star rating:
These were prefect expect not provided two black hook sizes - just came with one. Doesn't quite fit over the top bunk in the trailer, but seems like I can pull out the width of the hook manually and make it fit.
Nice option instead of having to dish out another $60 when there is nothing wrong with the ladder I have (besides myself losing the hooks).

The bunk ladder mounting brackets were exactly what I needed. The new hooks fit on my ladder perfectly. etrailer has always had everything I needed for my motorhome. I appreciate their quick response and rapid delivery.

Exact replacement for original parts. I recommend using some thread lock on the screw that goes on the ladder. The screw will come loose. That’s why I had to order replacement parts.
