On typical scissor stairs, the bottom step doesn't make a connection with the ground, which often leads to a distinct wobbly feeling as you climb. This diving board motion can be both annoying and potentially unsafe. In addition, the distance between the ground and the bottom step on these stairs is usually much larger than is comfortable, creating the need for a booster step.
With TorkLift's all-terrain landing gear legs those concerns are things of the past. Now you can feel safe while climbing your scissor stairs. The 2 landing gear legs on the stairs extend down to the ground to allow a comfortable step into and out of your RV or camper. Not only does this stabilize the stairs for a safer, more comfortable climb, but it also eliminates the need for a booster step. The legs adjust individually to stabilize the GlowSteps on any terrain, getting rid of any shaking or swaying. Just press the built-in push pin and move the inner tube in or out to achieve the right height. The pin will snap back in place to secure the leg in position.

Replacing the curved aluminum base with this more positive, and wider footprint, have removed some of the wobble that we had before. And..... the independent adjustability lets me fine tune them for uneven surfaces. These should have been part of the basic design all along!
These fit just right.
Other than some minor glitches with shipping e-trailer did a good job. The parts were expensive for what they are, but seem well made and do the job as expected….

Working out well. No issues
Well constructed. Easily adjustable and mounts within minutes to my tork lift scissor steps. At first I thought that these were a "luxury purchase ". We primarily dry camp in out-of-the way places. Now we don't need to look for just the right sized rock, piece of wood or fossilized possum to stabilize the steps on the ground. I have my steps mounted to a vertical plate that slides into my hitch receiver. When I fold up the steps, the landing legs fold so the rubber foot pads meet with the hitch plate, preventing the steps from grinding into the plate. Very secure. Sure, they may appear expensive, but in my mind they are worth it. Quick shipping from Etrailer. I would use their services again.
I mounted one on my travel trailer and one on my Lance truck camper. Both applications have been exceptional. The step is very sturdy and easy to adjust and deploy. I fabricated a unit that mounts in my hitch receiver to hold the bottom of the step while traveling with the lance camper. It takes 3 seconds to deploy the step (no lifting of the step as a unit and it stays mounted to the outside of the camper).
I purchased this to install on my LCI aluminum folding steps to add more stability to them. Overall, the product is very nice and functional. In my case, the issues I have are do to using them on a non-TorkLift set of steps. So, when we have the clearance to use them, the work well and product is definitely of nice quality.
I like them . I built my own platform for my camper and put 2 sets of steps on it . The landing gear are easy to djustand make it easy to load from either side of platform.
I normally avoid camping on pavement so having a convenient way of leveling the scissor steps on my truck camper is a big improvement. They add stability and safety and adjust very easily.

It’s been a year!! I definitely recommend these adjust feet!! They work great.
The landing gear is a great addition to our new steps. We used to haul around 4x4s to stick under the last step. They were easily installed in 10 min.
These are great, they allow you to adjust the height and/or adjust for side to side unevenness. Etrailer got them to me as fast as humanly possible and they are still holding up great.
Must have for any camper. The ground is never level, any where.
Awesome product for the motor-home stairs, I am going to buy another set for the truck camper stairs I bought last year.
Only took 10 minutes to install. Perfect fit!
Just received levelers and initial quality looks great. Have not installed on my steps yet but will soon.
Well made. Haven't tested them yet but they adjust for height very easily.

These plus the handrail have proven to be one of the best aftermarket additions to my camper. The adjustments offer a good range and quite often in the back country campsites the legs are set at different lengths due to very uneven ground make a solid and secure step. A must have, especially if you do a lot of back road unimproved site camping.
These land feet are so much better than the standard landing bar that comes with the steps. Wonder why these landing feet just aren't standard with the steps? The landing feet allow the steps to set firmly on the ground which allows the steps to remain at a 45 degree angle rather than a slant. Also having the ability to adjust the landing feet is key because the ground you camp on is never flat. Having the adjustment is also key to maintaining the 45 degree angle. Well worth the money.
The product made my steps very stable no matter what the terrain. I would highly recommend them.

Far better than the stock curved base. Ive used the landing gear for side-to-side leveling and also for height adjust when parked on a slope. five stars.....
