Today we're going to take a look at the second vehicle kit for the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Braking System. Now this kit here is designed to permanently transfer the InvisiBrake supplemental braking system from one vehicle to another. It is designed to fit the Roadmaster InvisiBrake supplemental braking system, part number RM-8700. We do sell that item separate on our website.This kit here will include everything laid out here. It includes the pulley, the cable anchor bracket, the brake pedal clamp with the mounting nuts and bolts, the monitor wire patch cord, the four-way harness, breakaway power and ground, the breakaway switch right here, the pin and the ring, the vacuum check valves, the 3/8 inch and a 1/2 inch, two of the vacuum inaudible 00:00:47, a 3/8 inch and 1/2 inch, the four wire flat harness for the towed lighting, an in line fuse holder with the included 20 amp fuse, an 1/8 inch air line, 1/4 inch nylon vacuum air line, and some rubber vacuum hoses, 1/4 inch, 3/8 inch, 1/2 inch, and the mounting hardware to install everything.Now it may also be used to add the InvisiBrake system to a new vehicle while still retaining it in the original vehicle. If that is what you're wanting to do, there are some additional components that'll be necessary to order to switch the InvisiBrake controller between the two vehicles.
The two part numbers you will need is RM-452109-10, that's the InvisiBrake air cylinder, and part number RM-452109, which is the InvisiBrake cable assembly. Using those two components with this kit will allow you to quickly and safely tow two vehicles using the same InvisiBrake controller. It does come with a nice set of installation instructions which describe how everything is installed but that should do it for the review on the second vehicle kit for the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Braking System.

Recent install of Invisibrake into 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 Elevation trim level.
Attached photos. Unit is under the driver side back seat. I made a wood mount from plywood. Ram is under the foot restinch to the left of the brake pedal. The cable makes a big loop under the carpet circling back to the brake pedal. This makes a nice neat install with everything out of the way.

The installation went pretty well. I referenced the RM-8700 video for my 2018 Chevy Equinox. The location for the control box specified is under the rear seat, however if done so, the seat back cannot be folded down flat. As a result, I installed it in the spare tire well which worked out to be a better location. I suggest that the video be edited accordingly. Thanks.
Received the product as advertised and as always etrailer.com provided excellent customer service and prompt response. I plan to install the product on another vehicle but have not yet begun that process, so I have no comments for that as yet. I do appreciate the support and responsiveness of etrailer.com and will continue to make them my first choice for towing products when I need them.

After watching etrailer videos to determine what parts I would need for a second vehicle invisibrake install, I placed a call to etrailer. I made contact with Amy, a rep with etrailer. Amy assisted me in getting the right parts and removed any doubt that I had about me just placing an order without assistance.
I placed my order and to my surprise, within a couple of days the parts were setting at my front door. After opening the box to do an inventory, I was amazed at the proper labeling of all items, and everything I had ordered was there.

Kit contained everything I needed to transfer an Invisibrake from a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee to a 2017 Jeep Cherokee. Medium to high level skill required for install. Modifications to trim/interior parts required to make the Invisibrake components fit.
The products were fine. The 2 stars are for etrailer customer service. The lighting kit they recommended for my CRV was not the correct one. To return it, they will charge me half of the $XX the kit cost even though it was shipped to me free. THAT IS A RIPOFF. My business will not be with [another website].
The lights were great. Installation went as per the videos.
It is not often that I offer acolytes to companies. Let's face it, companies "should" be in business to satisfy the needs of its customers. This company has exceptions to that. They maintain their website with not only products but instructions and assistance. If they do not know the answer, believe it or not, they actually admitted it and transferred me to someone who could help. They provided fast service and delivery which all should but their followup is fantastic as well.
I just received the package and have not installed it as of yet but I will let all know about the installation instructions. I honestly highly recommend this company to all in need.
GREAT ordering customer service! I Needed to get some Roadmaster parts very quickly and Anna got my order in and got them to ship it out that night so I would get it when I needed it! And their prices were better than anyone elses. Will be ordering some hitches from them soon!
This kit enabled us to wire our second car so we could use the invisabrake on both vehicles. Came in 3 days and etrailer price matched it.
The kit was complete and provided all parts and connectors to complete installation. Based on the items provided I believe it is extremely over-priced, but this is not etrailer.com's issue, it is Roadmaster.
I love the quality of the products I ordered. Customer relations was very good as well, they kept me informed and even though it took several weeks and etrailer had to wait on items to get to them, I was communicated to well. I know it’s important in who you deal within this day and time and you can trust etrailer.
Everything was in the package per inventory sheet. Installations was breeze.

I purchased this unit for a customer. I have not heard any complaints, nor had to do work on the system. That's a plus in my book. I don't shop much outside of my normal distributors, but when I do, it's nice to know that I can count on excellent customer service and feedback from your company.
