Second Vehicle Kit for Roadmaster BrakeMaster Flat Tow Brake Systems

We didn't need all the parts but the pieces we did need were critical. The rig is a Jeep JK 2-door with a custom bumper, front frame chop and higher clearance towbar points and we needed to have flexibility to mount the air brake lines. We were also on a short deadline to make the annual trek to Easter Jeep Safari and flat towing behind the coach would increase fuel economy 33% over towing on a trailer. The pieces were all familiar to me as we have this same setup in another rig and I knew they could be relied on to work with our RoadMaster braking system. etrailer got them to us quickly and we fabbed up the needed system in time to get out of town. A year later and it still works well. My only suggestion is a longer lasting rubber cover and possibly one for the interior fitting for use in a dirty/dusty environment. A very minor wish, the system is well thought out otherwise and does the job.1539776

Flat towing this Jeep with these Roadmaster components resulted in a mileage increase from 6.5mpg to 9.5mpg. Well worth the effort and theyre still holding up a year later and roughly 15,000 miles behind the coach.

I have install this kit on about 5 other vehicle and it is pretty simple to do.1514207

I received everything I needed to convert my 2018 Ford Edge Titanium with active cruise control. The instructions we pretty good for the install of the base plate. The other components were a bit tougher.704200

This was just the kit I needed. It was easy to install, especially with the very detailed and excellent videos provided by eTrailer, and came complete with everything needed to install in my 2013 CRV. I've used it on numerous trips since install and it's performed flawlessly in conjunction with my Diesel Pusher and it's initial install of Brakemaster System.518083

I ordered this same item and one other Roadmaster kit from Amazon. They both were missing significant parts so I sent them back and ordered the same part here at etrailer, where I've always had good service.

Once again etrailer came through the package arrived with 100% of the parts that are supposed to be in the kit! How hard is it to just get it right and deliver what is promised? Ask etrailer, because they seem to know what Amazon has yet to figure out...277481

Great kit for a second car. In my case I sold my tow vehicle and purchased another. This kit saved me quite a bit of money over buying a whole new breaking system and having it installed. All parts necessary to install were there and instructions look easy and I will be installing it next weekend. Customer service was excellent, they knew about the product and were very helpful.

For my GMC Terrain I did not connect bracket to panel as the panel is flimsy and weight pulled it down. Instructions are very clear, easy to install.1102460
