Base Plate Kit, Wiring, and Invisibrake Second Vehicle Kit for 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Question:
I have a road master 576 sterling A/T tow bar and invisibrake module. That is all I have. I want to hook up a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JL. I was told I need the base plates, light wire kit and invisibrake steplight switch. Can you please help me.

The first thing you'll need is a base plate kit that fits your 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited which for that the Roadmaster Direct Connect kit part # RM-521453-5 is the best way to go for your Sterling # RM-576. To complete your Invisibrake setup you'd need the second vehicle kit part # RM-98700.
For lighting you can use the diode kit, # RM-15267, and not have to worry about cutting into the taillight housing. This will splice into your taillight wiring to allow your tow vehicle to control the taillight assemblies of the towed vehicle. This comes with a round 6-way connector that you will install on the front of your towed vehicle and enough coiled wire to go from there to the RV.
