The under bed brackets you will need for your 2009 Chevy Silverado 3500 long bed are # RP50064. The other ones, # RP56001, are for 2011 and up Chevy and GMC 3/4 and 1-ton trucks.

I have linked the installation instructions for you. There are two different ways to install the brackets and rails depending on which type of rails you have. If you have the rails that have the mounting holes on the sides, like # RP58058 then you need the instructions at the beginning. If you have the rails with the mounting holes on the tops of the rails like 30124 then you need the instructions that start on sheet 10 of 11.

And yet a third option, if the rails you have are nearly the entire width of the bed and look like # RP30153 then you will need special brackets # RP56004. But you will also need hardware kit # RP58430.

I know there is a lot of information here so if you have any questions don't hesitate to send me an email!
