Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a real quick look at these Demco custom mounting brackets. Now to confirm that these brackets are going to work for your truck, take advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. Since these are custom mounted brackets, these are custom designed for particular vehicles. So use our fit guide and insert the year make and model of your truck, and our fit guide will let you know if these brackets will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. These installation brackets mount beneath the bed of your truck to give you attachment points for your Demco SL Series above-bed base rails.
And on your screen, I am including the item number of those base rails that these brackets are going to work with. And of course, as you probably know, these base rails actually sit in the bed of your truck and allow in the installation of your fifth wheel trailer hitch. Now these custom-fit rackets mount to existing holes in your vehicle's frame, minimizing drilling, reducing installation time, and avoiding known obstacles along your truck's frame. These brackets are made here in the U.S.A., with a black powder coat over sturdy steel. So that coating is going to help resist corrosion.
And as you can see, hardware is included with this. I just kind of have it loosely mounted on where the hardware's gonna go in the brackets when you are mounting this on your vehicle. I used these on a 8'x12' flatbed and they worked great. You just have to add a bolt hole or use shims like I did between the flatbed the top of the brackets.

Great product. Mounting hardware installed just as it states and everything fits together nicely. FYI, if you are doing an installation where you have to drill holes, cobalt bits make the job much easier.

Pretty much universal brackets. Required drilling additional holes in all 6 brackets to fit. Appears to be quality material and hardware.
