Recommended Custom 5th Wheel Rail Brackets and Hardware for 2015 Ford F-250 Short Bed

Question:

Thanks for the answer but I have two questions not answered. What is the difference between 56016 and 50026. I get both parts as a result of my query. Only thing I see is the extra leg on bracket which looks stronger to me What is the difference between hardware replacement 58504 and 58430. Looks the same in photos. I also get these two in my query. I will be using the 48" rails. They may be 48.25". Need also rail attaching instructions. Need exact measurement for first rail. All videos say to place where the instructions say, but I DO NOT have any. Need this info so I can order the brackets and hardware kit. Want to order ASAP so please get me this info. Thanks

For your 2015 Ford F-250 Short Bed, I recommend the Reese Quick-Install Custom Bracket Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP50026. This will give you the custom brackets so no drilling into your frame will be required. Then to install your rails, you will need hardware kit # RP58430.

This combination will allow you to properly install your Reese Sliding Hitch in your truck.

The Reese Quick-Install Custom Outboard Brackets for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP56016 are for the outboard bed rails like # RP30153 which are 48" long x 7-1/2" wide x 1-7/8" tall. Using these brackets the rear rail edge will be 27-5/8" inches from the rear edge of the truck bed (not the tailgate). The bracket # RP50026 is for the standard rails # RP58058 which are the industry standard rails that measure 43" long x 5-3/4" wide x 1-1/8" tall. These brackets will put the rear edge of the rear rail at 32-1/4 inches from the rear edge of the bed. I've attached the installation details to assist with all these parts.
