Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a real quick look at this Reese replacement weight distribution chain kit. This is going to replace the hardware and chains for your Reese weight distribution system and this is going to work with either your trunnion bar or round bar application. So this kit includes everything that you see here on the table before me. You're going to receive two 12 and three quarters inch long chains. And let me go ahead and confirm that measurement real quick with you.
So I'm gonna bring my ruler into view here, line my chain up. So measuring end to end, as you can see we are sitting right at 12 and three quarters inches long. So you're gonna get two of those chains. And then you're also going to get two of the three eights of an inch by 16 U-bolts and then two clips and then two bolts. And then you're going to get four three eights of an inch flat washers and then four three eights of an inch by 16 grade two lock nuts.
So this kit is the direct replacement from Reese. So what that means for you is you can trust that this is going to fit right in place of your original kit. You're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues, fitment issues, or anything like that. So if you are needing to replace the hardware and chains for your Reese weight distribution system, whether it's a trunnion bar or round bar application, this is going to be the hardware that you need. Overall I am happy with the kit. I dropped a star because I felt the pins are flimsy and I was missing a bolt. I bought a better the pin and replaced the bolts with nylon lock nuts.

It took a few tries to figure out what I needed to connect a Reese equalizer hitch I received with a car hauler trailer I recently purchased but with the help of the folks at etrailer I now have what I need to tow the trailer safely and efficiently. This was just one order out of several for various parts that I needed. I had searched many retailers and on-line merchants before finding etrailer but as soon as I started communicating with them the solution began to form. It took two tries but they were very helpful and cooperative in getting parts purchased and others returned. etrailer will be my go-to place for trailer supplies from now on.

Paired these parts with the Reese Dual Cam sway control System. It works great. Dual Cam system is one of the best systems out there. We have towed from Ga to the Keys and back, from Tampa to Pensacola and all over Fl. We dont have to worry about Tractor Trailers anymore.

We installed this on a 20' enclosed trailer, along with the Reese HD distribution kit. Everything arrived promptly. Instructions and installation were simple. We are extremely pleased with the way the trailer tows after installing. Great product.

Delivered on time as promised. Products appear to be high quality and should replace worn parts on my load leveling arms exactly. Only issue is that in the picture of the products on line shows that there were 2 screw bolts to secure the leveling brackets to the rv frame which the chains attach to. These bolts were not included in the package delivered. Going back on line to check out the product order again the contents of package doesn't list the bracket bolts. This is misleading and doesn't match the actual components shipped. Disappointed that the bolts were not included.

Had a U-bolt snap on me last camping trip going through a truck stop. Found these on e-trailer and arrived w/in a week. Looks durable and as I expected. Will install this weekend and ops check and will have a spare in case the other side snaps. Thanks e-trailer.

Through no fault of eTrailer it was not a good solution. My trailer is of an odd configuration that did not lend itself well to an equalizer hitch. The final solution was to get a bigger tow vehicle, F250 Super Duty , that did the trick. I bought an aluminum hitch with tongue weight measuring capability from you guys for this truck and after returning it once for defective load cell it’s working great. Great service from eTrailer.
