Replacement Trailer Hub Drive-In Wheel Studs

Today we're going to take a look at these replacement drive-in trailer hub wheel studs. It's a 1/2 inch diameter, 1 13/16ths in length and a quantity of four of them. Now these 1/2 inch studs, they're designed to replace damaged wheel studs on your trailer hub. The rate spline portion right here of the stud is going to be driven or pressed into your trailer hub and this stud is what will go through the bolt along your trailer wheel and when it's used with a wheel lug nut it will hold your tire wheel to your axle. They are stamped as Grade A bolts. Again, the thread sized diameter is 1/2 an inch. It's 20 threads per inch and they do use standard 1/2 inch by 20 lug nuts.
Now I did happen to pull one of those 1/2 inch by 20 lug nuts from our warehouse and just to show you after this is installed in your hub, put your wheel up on the stud and then just go ahead and put your lug nut on there and then tighten it down and torque it to the correct specs for your application. Now I do want to give you the overall length. Now the overall length on the studs are always measured from the bottom of the head to the very end. If we put a ruler on this, it's going to be right at 1 13/16ths overall length. The threaded portion length is going to be right at 1 1/4 inches and then the spline diameter, that's the diameter of the spline here, that's the end that gets pressed into the trailer hub, the diameter of that is .61 inches. That should do it for the review of these replacement drive-in trailer hub wheel studs, 1/2 inch diameter by 1 13/16ths length and a quantity of four of them.

Saved my trailer. Someone (me) forgot to tighten the lugnuts after checking the bearings. Destroyed the studs. Could not find them locally anywhere. Found etrailer online, and was able to match the studs just from the pictures and descriptions on the web page. 1-13/16ths was a great clue.. only one. So this old guy thanks you for saving his trusty old trailer.
I was not able to use these. The thread cut and stud length are identical to the stud I needed to replace. What I was unaware of is that another variable is the width of the shoulder. These are too fat at the shoulder and would not set into the brake drum. I was able to have the local auto parts store take measurements and get one for me. Nothing wrong with the quality. Just no hint the shoulder was different.
Needed some press in wheel studs to replace some rotten ones on an old trailer. Wasn't familiar with how many types of press in studs were around. These worked perfectly and were a breeze to install. Thanks!

Nice studs but the expanded section that is to be driven in does not fit any of the holes in the PJ branded tire mount.
