Today, we're going to take a look at the Replacement Drive-in Trailer Hub Wheel Studs. These are 1/2 inch diameter, 1-1/2 inches in length, and a quantity of four of them. Now, these 1/2 inch studs are designed to replace damaged wheel studs on your trailer hub. The raised spline portion right here of the stud is what'll be driven or pressed into your trailer hub. The stud itself is what'll go through the bolt hole on your trailer wheel. When used with the wheel lug nut, it'll hold your tire and wheel to your axle. They are stamped on the head, they're a grade eight bolt.
The thread size in, again is 1/2 diameter by 20 threads per inch and they use a standard 1/2 inch by 20 lug nut. I did happen to pull one of those 1/2 inch by 20 lug nuts just to show you. Once this is installed in your trailer hub, put your wheel up on your stud, put your lug nut on it, and then go ahead and tighten it down, then torque it to the correct specs for your application. A few measurements on this. Overall length, now the overall length will be measured from the bottom of the head to the very end of the bolt. If we do that, you're looking at 1-1/2 inches.
Now, the threaded length, just the threaded portion, is going to be right at one inch, and then the spline diameter, that's the part, the spline, that goes into the trailer hub. It's pressed in the trailer. The diameter of that part is .62 inches. That should do it for the review on the Replacement Drive-in Trailer Hub Wheel Studs, 1/2 inch diameter, 1-1/2 inches in length, and a quantity of four.

All of these are working out really well. I especially like the Fulton spare tire carrier, mounted on the trailer tongue towards the front---gives about 1.5 inches of clearance between the boat and the mounted spare tire. The adjustable height of the mounting arm was really a nice feature for my application. I've use Lubrimatic marine grease for years, and expect long life from this brand. The Bow Stop has the perfect angle to receive the bow of my 1970 classic Glastron Futura V 153, and so far appears to be non-marring to the finish of the boat. Very happy with all of these items!

I had added a spacer on each wheel of my trailer to prevent my new slightly oversize wider tires from rubbing on the trailer frame. This necessitated longer mounting studs, which have proven to work perfectly. Getting the old ones out was a probem as they had been in the hubs since the trailer was purchased new in 1970, but the installation of the new studs was easy. Good product so far!!
