Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a real quick look at these trailer wheel bolts. These half inch in diameter by one inch in length wheel bolts are going to fit hub piloted trailer wheels, and you're going to receive four 60 degree coned bolts. And let me pull out my ruler here real quick and just confirm some measurements with you. So lining this up here, I'm gonna try to give you the, show you the diameter of the threads. As you can see, we are sitting right at half an inch on that thread diameter.
The thread length is one inch. And these are fine threads. And then the head size, we're sitting a little under an inch. We're gonna call it about thirteen sixteens of an inch. And again, you're gonna get four of these bolts.

So here is a comparison of the stock lug and part numbers 20 and 40. The 20s worked well for me. I'll be sending the 40s back. Hope this helps someone.

I have a older boat trailer that has been in salt water and the lug bolts were rusted. I had to change one tire and decided to replace all the lug bolts. I didn't think lug bolts were so hard to find. The coating appears to be Zinc Dichromate. I hope it will stand up to salt water better than the old ones. I have 5 lug per wheel and the bolts come in packs of 4. Luckily it is a tandem axle and ordering 5 packs worked out great.

The weather has improved and we can finally work on the trailer. We did an on line search for the best price and quality for parts to bring our trailer back to working order. We found the parts needed to replace old retired fenders, wheels, etc and the company we ordered from for the first order was etrailer. The item was delivered fast and well packaged and our first item was a definite plus for our trailer with regard to appearance and quality. Then we needed more parts and did another on line search. Exactly what I needed. Was told by a trailer place one day these aren't made anymore because they tend to back out (but have yet to have loose ones). Not sure why I didn't even think about etrailer.com If it's not here, then it's probably NOT available anywhere. Got them in the mail quickly and put them on my horse trailer right away. Had 4 of 5 in on each of all 4 wheels before. Not the safest, but still held the wheel on just fine.

I was very satisfied with the service I received from etrailer.com. I ordered this set of wheel bolts form etrailer.com on Tuesday, May 1. I choose the normal (cheapest) ground shipping method. I was pleased when I checked my email a few hours after placing my order and was notified that my shipping method had been upgraded to three day shipping with no additional costs! I then received the wheel bolts on Thursday, May 3. I will be using these wheel bolts to hold the wheels onto my 4'x 9' utility trailer an I hope to get plenty of use out of them. - How to Determine What Size Wheel Bolts Are Needed for Trailer HubIn order to determine the size wheel bolts you would need you will need to first determine the thread size of the bolts you currently have. You can do this by taking a wheel bolt to a hardware store so that you can compare it to the bolts they have there to find the size. Or if you have a tap and die kit you can try threading the bolts until you find the right size.
