This is going to replace the hardware used to attach a tire to your Stromberg Carlson bumper mounted tire carrier. And for your reference, I do have our item number for that tire carrier on your screen. So this includes everything that you see here on the table before me, and this is directly from Stromberg Carlson so you're not gonna have to worry about fitment issues or anything like that. This is going to be just like the hardware that you are needing to replace.

it worked just fine to mount the spar tire on my trailer ,would buy Agin if needed .
Fit my spare tire holder on my boat trailer. I liked the retaining clips that hold the wheel studs in place while you tighten down the bolts.

Original bolts for spare tire for new Big Tex trailer were junk and cross threaded first use. This kit replaced original hardware perfectly to bolt spare tire on trailer mount.
The product arrived in new condition. I have no complaints about the service, delivery or packaging. I suppose the quality was good, but it wasn't what I was expecting. The OEM carriage bolts in my spare tire carrier broke and I needed to replace them, which is why I ordered this item. The bolts in my spare tire carrier that came on my 2014 Evergreen travel trailer were 1/2-20 UNF thread which matches the threads on my wheels, so the same lug nuts that fit the wheels also fit the spare tire carrier. So that's what I thought I was going to get.
These bolts are 1/2"-13 UNC thread, so they require different lug nuts. There are some lug nuts supplied with the bolts, so I was able to use them, however, now the lugs are not interchangeable with those on the wheels. I have yet to find anywhere that I can purchase replacement bolts with the correct UNF thread and Evergreen is now out of business, so I;ve made do with these for now.
This product did exactly what I wanted it to. Better than what came with my new trailer! That is why I bought this product in the first place. The trailer's spare tire setup came with a regular nut that did not have a conically shaped face and therefore didn't match the conical shape of the hole in the rim of the spare tire. Therefore a regular washer and lock washer were required. To add to the pain of use, the bolts didn't have any kind of separate retention. This caused all the pieces to fall to the ground when I unscrewed the nut from the bolt. I love the metal plate that keeps the bolt in place while you remove and put back the spare tire on the carrier!

Exactly what I needed to put my spare tire back onto the rack. This kit has everything you need.
Have used etrailer.com several times and always have excellent results.
I’ve got a 40’ Gooseneck where the spare is stored above the neck. My original spare tire bolts seemed to have broke. I believe it’s due to me not tightening them down enough and the vibrations caused them to break. These bolts from etrailer are exactly what I needed. etrailer is my go to for trailer necessities
Product is as described, my only issue is as noted in other reviews: the thread pitch and but size are not standard. The lug nuts supplied will only work on these bolts and likely not on your other wheel studs. Since the nut is a different size (3/4”) you may need two sockets to change a tire. That is extremely frustrating, but I couldn’t find the right replacement carriage bolts, lug nuts and retaining washers to replace the ones on my spare tire carrier. For the price, I’ll deal with the hassle.
In addition to the above hardware my package my package contained the washers and nuts for the u-bolts that attach the (tire mount) to the trailer bumper. So because I had them, I replaced the nuts and washers on the bumper u-bolts as well because these had accumulated some rust. The Hardware appears to be zinc plated and should last in the years to come.
I also like the flat rectangular washers with the teeth that hold the carriage bolts in the mount so they won't fall out when you take the tire on or off.

Product is still working out great. So saying that I have completed some 3000 miles with my trailer without a blow out. So have not needed to disturb the spare. On the opposite hand no signs of corrosion and more importantly the spare has not fallen off the trailer!
I looked high and low for these parts, and finally found them here. etrailer is now my "go-to" for trailer parts and specialty fasteners.
Worked! Not sure why there were different size nuts and lock washers included, but the bolts/lugs/retainer clips worked great.

Just what I needed!
A bit pricey. You can buy galvanized carriage nuts and bolts at the local hardware store for a fraction of the price. But the 1/2" push nuts were hard to find, which is why I bit the bullet and paid a premium for these.
It was exactly what I ordered. And it worked for my application
Service was prompt. I wished the nuts were the same size as the nuts on the other wheels. Now have to have two wrenches.

A year later Im still making do with these carriage bolts as I have been unable to find any with the 12 UNF threads. It would be nice to be able to use the same lug nuts on the spare tire carrier as on the trailer wheels, but that apparently is harder than it sounds as noone sells the matching bolts.
