I purchased two bags of these lug bolts for my older trailer. They worked perfect. The product description and images were exactly what I needed to go measure the existing bolts I do have that I wanted to replace. They fit perfect in the older hub I have and worked great.

After a year of use the lug bolts still work great. No rust to speak of and are still working as expected.

by:

Got what I ordered however they are a bit different. They might work but I'll do some more searching before I open it. No complaints.

by:

Hi, Carol,
We got the new trailer lug
nuts for my grandson’s summer restoration project. I had trouble finding them until I found your site. He’ll fix it up and sell it for a profit (or I’ll have a trash hauler). The lug nuts fit, the wheels are on, and he’s ready for the bed!

Thanks to you and George for being there!

The previous owner of my trailer used several standard bolts to hold the wheel on. Were not snug, and had different head sizes. I purchased 2 sets of these and replaced all lug bolts because they are much higher grade, will last, and I only need one size wrench to pull a wheel now.

by:

The whole order was perfect. I'm rebuilding the running gear on a1976 3 horse slant then remodeling the whole trailer by converting the trailer into a communications trailer for HF radio for disaster response. Front area will be living quarters. I am in our State Guard as a radio operator and also in county emergency management. This trailer will be my shelter and operating station when deployed to hurricanes and such. Since I'm spending my own funds on this, the good prices on etrailer are greatly appreciated.

by:

The lug bolts work perfect on my 1978 boat trailer. The bolts were very hard to fine because of the bevel.

by:

The Tires ordered couldn't have come any sooner unless they were shipped by jet aircraft. They arrived fully inflated and properly packaged. The two people who handled my order were friendly and helpful beyond my expectations. If I ever have further need of the products they sell, I would absolutely do business with them again. I am pleased to give etralier an Excellent rating.

by:

Prefect. I had a hard time finding studs to fit my old trailer, but found them here.

by:

These bolts fit tightly and have help up well.

  • Wheel Lug Nuts for Vintage Style 4-Bolt Trailer Hub
Thank you for the photo of your vintage trailer hub. This type of hub uses bolts rather than lug nuts to secure the trailer wheel. We offer kit # RG02-020 which consists of four (4) 1/2-inch x 1-inch 60-degree-coned wheel bolts. We also have a kit # RG02-040 that has 90-degree-coned bolts that are 1/2-inch x 7/8-inch. We also have 9/16-inch x1-1/8-inch bolts # RG02-060. The particular wheels you use will require one or the other depending on the profile of the wheel holes. The wheel...

  • Availability of 1/2-13 Left Hand 60° Wheel Lugs for a Vintage Trailer
We are not going to have any bolts that match what you're needing, unfortunately, because the bolts you need are not being used anymore. Those bolts were mostly found on vintage trailers, which I'm sure you're aware of, so your best bet would be to either find a seller who carries these specialty bolts, or replace the entire axle & hub with a more modern setup that uses standard bolts.

  • Replacement Lug Bolts for 1963 Prowler Camping Trailer
We have only a couple options for lug bolts, so you will need to confirm the fit on your 1963 Prowler camper. We have 1/2 inch diameter bolts that are 1 inch long with a 60 degree cone # RG02-020 or the 1/2 inch diameter bolts 7/8 inch long with 90 degree cone # RG02-040. Both have a head diameter of 13/16 inches and both have a fine thread. If this is not the correct fit, I've attached an article to assist with hub replacement based on axle spindle or bearing size. You will need...

  • Help Picking Out Replacement Wheel Bolt Part Number 6109 RT
I wasn't able to get exact info on your part number, but from the part number we know it's right hand thread wheel bolt like the part # RG02-020 which is a fine thread 1/2 inch diameter bolt with a 60 degree angled head. The other most likely fit is the part # RG02-040 which has a 90 degree head. Do you have a picture of the bolt I can look at?

  • How to Determine Correct Lug Nut/Wheel Bolts for Wesco Trailer with 3,990 lbs GAWR
Most wheel bolts/lugs have a 1/2" diameter but it isn't too uncommon to have something else. While I don't know exactly what a Wesco trailer with a GAWR of 3,990 lbs uses, I can help you figure it out. The first thing to note is whether your hubs have lugs already and your wheel mounts to them, or whether you need to hold the wheel up and secure it in place using bolts. The other thing to note is what degree cone you have. For example, the 1/2" diameter wheel bolts come in 2 different...

Here is a list of the threaded and tapered wheel bolts we have. These are all 4-packs. • Availability of 1/2 inch Diameter Wheel Lug Bolts that are 20 TPI
We do have 1/2 inch lug bolts like what you mentioned needing with the part # RG02-020 for a set of 4 that have a 60 degree cone or part # RG02-040 which is a set of 4 that have a 90 degree cone. Both of these are fine thread which also matches the 20 threads per inch you need as well.

  • Center Pilot Hole on 12 Inch Trailer Wheel with 4 on 4 Bolt Pattern is Too Large for Hubs
All of the 12 inch wheels with 4 on 4 bolt pattern that we carry have a pilot hole that is 2.8 inches or greater. If the wheel bolts have a 60 degree cone (like # RG02-020 as an example) then the bolts will be able to center the wheel on a hub-centric set up like what you have. The 60 degree cone will center at each hole thus centering the wheel. If the bolts are flat like a regular nut, or 90 degree, like # RG02-040, then they will not be able to center the wheel properly. We currently...

  • Difference Between 90 Degree and 60 Degree Lug Bolts
The degrees represents the angle of the cone that is on the wheel bolt. If they are 90 degree then the cone is a 90 degree angle made by the angle created by each side of the bolt. A 60 degree lug bolt would have a 60 degree angle made by each sides of the lug. 60 is the more common size. For 90 degree you would want the # RG02-040 that you referenced or for 60 degree part # RG02-020.

  • Westlake Lug Centered Wheel and Lionshead Lug Nut
The Westlake ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 15" Item # LHAW124 you referenced is a lug centered wheel. The majority of our trailer wheels are lug centered. I recommend the Lionshead Trailer Wheel Lug Nut - 1/2"-20 - Stainless Steel item # LHLR103. This is a standard 60-degree coned lug nut. They are sold individually.

  • Would Trailer Wheel Bolt without Taper Work to Replace Wheel Bolt with Bolt
If your current wheel bolts have a taper to them that means they help center the wheel to the hub. If you went with a wheel bolt like the part # 7-23 the wheels wouldn't center onto the hub. You'd need something with a taper like the part # RG02-020 if you need a 60 degree taper or part # RG02-040 for a 90 degree taper.

  • Replacement Hub For Trail Star Boat Trailer With 5 Lugs For Threaded Wheel Bolts and L44649 Bearings
Thank you for including the image Nick as that helps me see your hub has the 5 lugs and threaded holes for wheel bolts. The Dexter Trailer Idler Hub # 008-258-04 is currently the only hub we have for your spindle size which has the threaded holes. This hub comes with the races pressed in but you will need 2 of the Bearings # L44649. a Grease Seal # 10-9 and either a EZ Lube Grease Cap # DE69YR, Standard Grease Cap # F001518 or we have the Bearing Buddy # BB1980A you can upgrade to. • Does the Agricultural Hub Assembly # AH30660FCOMP Have Threaded Bolt Holes Or Lug Studs?
The Complete Agricultural Hub Assembly for Spindle AS3000F # AH30660FCOMP has threaded bolt holes for the 1/2 inch Lug bolts that come with the hub. We don't have any that are the same 6 on 6 inch bolt pattern with lug studs, but the lug bolts will center the wheel just as well as a lug nut with their 90 degree coned bolt head. I've attached the replacement Wheel Bolts, 1/2" x 7/8", 90 Degree (Qty 4) # RG02-040 for further help.
