Today I'm going to take a look at the 12-inch long three-wire extension harness with PL3 plugs, for Peterson trailer lights. Now this three-wire harness provides 12 additional inches of wiring between your light and the trailer wiring harness. It is designed specifically for you to stop tail turn lights, parking and turn lights, and warning lights with PL3 connections. Now you can see on this end it has a male PL3 plug that connects to the light. And on this end is a female PL3 plug, it'll connect to the truck or the trailer. It is a three-wire harness.
The white wire is your ground, red wire is your turn signal, black wire is your tail light. Again approximate wire length, put that down there, you can see right about 12 inches. And this part is made in the USA. But that should do it for the review of the 12-inch long three-wire extension hardness with the PL3 plugs for Peterson trailer lights.

The harness was a direct connection to my trailer harness which made is possible to modify the connections without cutting into the original equipment harness. It was exactly the solution I was trying to find.

Worked perfectly to give extra cable length as I replaced the lights on my flatbed.

I used this harness in a specialized way to add lighted posts to the rear of my boattrailer. Its working perfectly.
