Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Buyers Products DOT light plug. Now, this plug simply connects your light to your truck or trailer's wiring. It comes with a three-wire AMP style plug. Now, this style plug really creates a weather-tight connection point. It has the clip right here, which engages the connection point at the plug housing. That's where the plug inserts.
And that, once engages, or excuse me, once that clip is engaged, it really prevents the plug from accidentally disconnecting.This yellow piece right here, this kind of gets pushed together when you plug this is, and that creates a seal. That's like a rubber construction. It creates a nice tight seal, which is going to keep dirt, grime, and moisture away from the connection points. On the other end, we have a three-pin straight female PL-3 plug. Took a measurement of the unit, going from edge to edge, that's going to give us a measurement of about 11 and one-quarter inches.
