Hi, there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Kodiak replacement Disc Brake Caliber Mounting Bracket. Now, this caliber mounting bracket is designed for use with disc brake assemblies that fit 2000 pound axles, and have an eight inch diameter rotor. And this will mount on either the right hand or left hand side. It's got the four bolt brake flange configuration, as you can see there.
It is made here in the USA of a heavy duty ductile iron construction. So it is gonna hold up well for you. It also has a decrement platting that's gonna provide superior corrosion resistance for your fresh water or salt water use. It does have a 300 to 400 hour salt spray rating. You can see, our bolt holes here are embossed.
And that provides extra thread contact for your caliper guide bolts. So you're gonna have a nice, tight, secure connection between your bracket and your caliper.
