Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and today we're taking a quick look at the quarter inch diameter Quick Links. These are going to help you connect to chain on your vehicle to tie things down, help you connect some rope, some cable, whatever the case might be. Again, these are going to have a quarter inch diameter, so work well for those instances where you're connecting to quarter inch diameter chain or anything else that requires that smaller size. It has a zinc coating so that it's going to resist rust and corrosion, and a sturdy steel construction so it's going to be up to the task.As far as our outside measurements, they're both going to be about 2-1/4" long by about 1-1/4" wide roughly. The inside measurement or the inside length is about 1-3/4" or 1-3/4" of usable space in there.

For the width, it's about a 1/2". The span for that opening throat, however you want to look at it, that is just about 3/8" in length. Should be able to use a 10 millimeter open-ended wrench to tighten this down, but it doesn't require tools necessarily to tighten this all away. Just give it a full turn by hand. It should hold nice and secure.
