Ellen: Hey, everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a look at the three 16th inch diameter Quick Links. So these are going to help you to secure chain, rope or cable, whatever the case might be on your cargo carrier, on your truck bed, to some tie-downs or at your hitch. Maybe to secure your chains together on your snow tire chains.These are going to be pretty small Quick Links, so if you need a different size, you'll probably be sizing up from here, but we do have some other options available here at etrailer.com. Let me give you some measurements to make sure that this is going to be the right fit for you besides just that diameter.

So the overall length of each of our links will be one and seven eighths inches long. And then about an inch wide going from this side to the edge of that keeper nut.The inside length or the usable space in there is going to be about an inch, or excuse me, about an inch and a half. And then the other direction about a half inch of space. The opening is about a quarter inch of space there. And you should be able to tighten this down with a nine millimeter open-ended wrench if you want to.

But really you don't need any tools to get it tightened down. Just thread it all the way and give it a little extra push with your hand and it should hold tight.But if you want to give it a little extra turn, a nine millimeter open-ended wrench will probably do just fine. These are going to be made out of a sturdy steel construction with a powder coat, or excuse me with a zinc coating to help resist any rust or corrosion. So it should last you for a while.
