Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a look at this Flint Hill Goods Tri Ball Mount for two inch hitches. This ball mount features three different size chrome plated, permanently attached hitch balls, letting you tow trailers with different coupler sizes. To switch the ball, you're gonna simply remove, rotate, and re-insert the shank. And this solid shank is extra strong and durable, and it will slide into your two inch trailer hitch receiver. And so, just some specifications here so you're aware of the capabilities of this unit.

When you use the one in seven eights inch hitch ball, the gross towing weight is going to be 2000 pounds and the ton weight is going to be 200 pounds. And I took some measurements earlier before our time together. From the center of our hitch ball to the center of our hitch pin hole, we are sitting right at eight inches. And then the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the end of the shank, we're sitting right at two and a half inches. And then when we switch to the two inch ball right here, the gross towing weight is going to be 6,000 pounds with the ton weight of 600 pounds.

And then the distance from the center of our hitch ball to the center of our hitch pin hole will be the same at eight inches. And then again, the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the end of the shank is going to be two and a half inches. And then finally switching to the two and five sixteens inch hitch ball, the gross towing weight is going to be 10,000 pounds with a ton weight of 1000 pounds. And then the distance from the center of our hitch ball to the center of our hitch pin hole is going to be six and three quarters inches. And then the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the end of our shank, we're gonna be sitting right at three and three quarters inches.

Of course, you wanna make sure that you do not exceed the rating of the lowest rated component in the vehicle or trailer towing setup. The overall length from end of shank to end of shank, we're sitting right at 12 inches. So again, this is of a durable steel construction. It has a black powder coat finish that's going to help resist corrosion. And the hitch pin and clip or hitch lock is sold separately.

So if you don't have a compatible pin and clip, I am including an option there for you on your screen. However, I would recommend going, I would recommend considering the etrailer trailer hitch receiver lock for two inch hitches, that's going to secure this to your vehicle and deter theft. So whichever one you choose to go with, either the pin and clip or the trailer hitch lock, I have those item numbers for you.
