Let's go over the Redline lug nut locks. So this is gonna come in handy if you've come out to your trailer and it's on cinder blocks and your wheels are gone. So what this is gonna do is it's going to give you a very unique little lug nut which can only be loosened with this special little key that comes with it. So it's gonna be very, very difficult for somebody to get this thing off and steal your stuff. Because as of right now, it's just a 13/16 socket. Everybody's got that in their house or their shed or their toolbox.
So this is gonna be a little bit easier to do so. So let's show you how it works. Pretty much, we're just gonna put one on each side. So we just need to find the lug nut. It doesn't matter which one you do.
We just need to put it on one of the studs. And this is gonna be for your half inch lug nuts, which is a very standard size for your trailers. So you really don't have to worry about it not fitting. It's pretty much every trailer we see here has that size lug nut. So we're gonna take one off and then we're gonna have two of these.
So one is gonna go on this side and then one is gonna go on the other wheel on the other side of the trailer. So we're gonna take this and we're gonna just thread it on just like a normal lug nut. You can do it by hand like this until it gets all the way snugged up. And this is where the key comes into play because the normal socket isn't gonna do anything. It's just gonna rotate around.
And the cool thing about this key is it looks like it's symmetrical, but it actually isn't. So there's only one way that it's gonna go on there, right there. So it's very, very unique. It's gonna be very hard for someone to either have this or make one. So once we do that, we can tighten it all up. I like to tighten it all kind of by hand here. And ideally we have this kind of elevated and lift it up whenever we're torquing these down. So I just like to do it by hand and then come back here through with a torque wrench and torque it to spec. And then after that, you're done. You can use two different sockets. I'm using a 13/16 'cause it matches the lug nuts on my trailer, but you can also use a 3/4 inch socket. As of right now, our wheels and everything are taken care of but the trailer can still be hooked up to and stolen. So I recommend grabbing a wheel lock like this. This is gonna prevent it from rolling. So someone's not going to go and take your trailer out. There's one other thing to really protect the trailer to the ultimate degree. And that's just gonna be preventing them from hooking up to the coupler. There's a lot of different ways you can do it. And it just depends on what kind of coupler you have. So if you're in the locking mindset might as well search our website. We have a lot of different things to give you peace of mind, just to protect your stuff. Very simple product by Redline. Do I use 'em on my trailers Of course, why not It's a very simple product to just give you peace of mind. And that's pretty much it for a look at the chrome lug nut locks by Redline..

I built my" tool shed" on a Triton aluminum trailer. I wanted doors on three sides. I do a lot of volunteer work at a Bible camp and it involves hauling my tools to the job. The trailer had 12x 4 inch wheels and I wanted something I more substantial to carry the load. I ordered the wheels and tires from etrailer. They came on time and we're exactly what I wanted. I have purchased other items from etrailer, and highly recommend this company
Excellent service and product. Wheel locks have held up as advertised.
Hunted/shopped around for the product that was originally on trailer. These are the identical locks they previous owner had on (just not the key). They measure; inside 1.138", outside 1.264". They fit perfectly on these alum wheels.

Still holding strong and looking good!
An absolute must if you don't want to lose your rims and tires
I have always received good costumers service and products.
There are enough things to think about when trailering. Worrying about theft shouldn't be one of them. Get these for your wheels. They are GREAT!
I have done business with etrailer for more years than I can remember. Their products typically are best in class, and customer support sets a very high standard. It probably is a pretty large company, but I always enjoy the personal touch of what feels like a small company.
Got these to protect the mag wheels and upgraded tires on my boat trailer. They never let me down.
Needed some lug locks for my utility travel because of last minute travel plans. the order was processed right away, and delivery was very quick. The item I received was exactly what I was hoping for.
Thanks so much!
Used to secure the spare tire to its mount on utility trailer. Gives me peace of mind that it is secured better than using regular lug nuts.
Great service and products
Just what I was looking for, very hard to find. Shipping was quick and reasonable. Price was priceless since without I was stuck. Thx
Easy to use.
Arrived ASAP! Good timing as we are on the road and must travel. Easy pizy! Thx Etrailer
Great customer service. Part arrived on time and fits as promised. See attached pics.
Dealing with etrailer has been a nightmare. Neverending backorder and then finally product is in stock (months later than projected) but my order is cancelled because I didn't respond within 24 hours to reauthorize payment. Had to start all over again. My order finally arrives (again months later than projected) with only half of what I ordered delivered - even though my order shows fulfilled. Total B.S.
Perfect fit on my small rv. A little smaller than the original lug nuts but not that noticeable. Don’t think they would be easy to get off in a hurry without the key.
The wheel bolts fit nicely into the recessed wells on the teardrop camper spare tire. It should be a time-consuming challenge for anyone to steal the tire. etrailer's service and shipping timing were excellent as usual.
A must for any trailer that is parked or stored outside, and not behind a secure fenced area. Easy to install and remember to write down the key code because if you lose the key tool you are in trouble. I do wish the Company would sell them in sets of four all keyed the same, as the bulk of trailers are dual axle and even for those who have single axles, you still could put more than one per wheel to slow them down.

Still have my trailer and wheels. Thank you for checking in.
I ordered a pair of wheels along with associated items. Soon after ordering, I received a call from the folks at etrailer to say that the wheels were not in stock, but expected soon. Thereafter, I received email follow-ups, including one to indicate that the package was shipped.
These folks know how to treat customers! A great experience working with them!

You have no idea how amazingly good those new aluminum wheels look with our newly mirror-polished vintage Airstream! Enough said!!:
I have to really compliment etrailer for creating a superb "solution-oriented" web site that I have repeatedly visited with outstanding success. I have already purchased an excellent tongue-lock to protect my trailer. Now, I needed something to protect theft of the wheels. These locking lug nuts were exactly what the doctor ordered. They are made very well, look nice on the trailer and offer a reasonable method to prevent theft adding more protection for it. Not only does etrailer make it simple to find a product like this, they also usually provide a an accompanying video which really helps!
Fast shipping and what appears to be the cat's meow of locking lug nuts!!

Great! Wheels are still in place!
This is a high quality wheel lock. I will be using it to lock my spare onto the mount on my trailer. I looked at other options for spare tire security, but this lock fits perfectly on the stud of the spare mount and locks the wheel tight. It is also more cost effective than other options. I will also have a spare lock nut in the event that I should need one.
It may not be the original intent, but I'm using one of these as a locking/security nut on the alloy wheels of my 1999 New Beetle. I bought the Beetle used and it had already been altered by the addition of studs to accommodate after market alloy wheels. At some point, I lost the original locking/security nut from one of the wheels (I must not have tightened it enough). These were a perfect replacement, identical to the originals plus I have a spare should it happen again (the key for the original security nuts was quite beaten up/rounded off when I got the vehicle). THANKS!
Not an infraction on etrailer, but I had to get three packages of locks before I got a good set. The first 2 sets stripped out- But I will say that 2 years ago I bought these for a trailer I had at that time and did not have a problem.
This time there must have been a bad batch- But etrailer worked through it and made sure I was completely satisfied.
It is refreshing to deal with a company that puts its customers first.
