Curt Hook with Spring Loaded Safety Latch for Safety Chains and Cables - 9/16" - 5,000 lbs

I hadn't seen these particular safety chain hooks before. They looked like exactly what I needed. The price sealed that thought. I received them in less than a week which is great for where I live. The hooks are heavy built and worked great. I do need to contact your company and discuss some other hooks for some of my other trailers. I do intend to do business with etrailers in the future. These hooks with safety latch were purchased as replacements for ones that were damaged on safety cables while towing a vehicle behind a motor home. The weight rating is much higher than will ever be needed, but it's good to know they will never break. The product is well made and easy to use. I order from e-trailer because they have what I want when I need it. Products are shipped in a timely manner, and that's important because some items are not available locally.98166

Products work great the bigger hooks make it quick and easy to snap on you hooking up to the vehicle the coil cables was great makes it quick and easy don't have to wrap around everything or worry about them dragging the ground the plates I put on the tow bar made it nice and easy and quick to hook up to as I deliver RVs for a living I'm constantly hooking and unhooking my car two different motorhomes please make it quick and easy and they pretty much roll right back up and makes it easy to grab in the store in the back of the car634119

Great product - makes it easy to move up or down trailer safety chain to ensure appropriate length - hooks onto truck easily and securely. One question I did not ask and should have is how big must the chain link be to allow this hook to insert through it. My estimate NOW is 9/16 or larger - this only fits one of my three sets of trailer safety chains. Will probably upgrade my other chains to be able to use this hook.613758

These came in handy when one of our other spring loaded clips broke off. These fit right in the chains I'm using and for what I'm towing they're not going anywhere. They are big so make sure you have room for them before you make the purchase. 850683
