Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at a quick link connector that measures 3/8ths of an inch in diameter. The quick link connector is a versatile tool for connecting chain, cable, wire or rope. Very versatile, and they're always great to have on hand. It's made from steel, and it's zinc plated for corrosion resistance. It can handle a working load limit of 2650 pounds. It can be tightened and loosened with a 5/8th inch wrench, or adjustable wrench. And so, sometimes with these, they like to get pretty tight, so you just place a wrench on there, and you turn it to loosen it.
And then, usually once it really disengages, you can finish loosening it up by hand. So, that allows us to open it all the way up. Now, this opening right here, I measured that gap, and that measures 7/16ths of an inch. So, the inside space, I took a measurement from inner edge to inner edge, and got a measurement of 2 and 5/8ths inches. And then, right here, from edge to edge, I got a measurement of three quarters of an inch. Please note that this is not designed to be used for lifting applications. That's going to do it for today's look at the quick link connector that measures 3/8ths of an inch in diameter..
