What's up everybody. It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be checking out this replacement handle for this Fulton Winch. It's gonna be the F2FW1600 And this is just gonna be a replacement handle, you can add on there. If you have a handle that broke on ya, or seen better days, you can get that back up and running. And you don't have to buy a whole new winch.
You can just add the handle in, and it's good to go. Let's check it out. The replacement handle works really easy, just like your original, so you can loosen it up like that or flip it around, and put tension on your winch as well. So works just same way, really nice and smooth, no different. Looking at the handle here.
There's two spots you can use to mount it. And that's just depends on where you want to put it. So we put it in this position. So we have more handle out here to get more leverage where we are turning it. Not much for loosening, but you gotta tie it down that kind of help you get it nice and tight with all that leverage.
So you use this other hole here too, to move the handle back that way you can get, make sure there's not clearance issues. So. there could be potential hitting of the boat. And you'd be able to shift the handle to get more space either here or even if there's something up, upfront you would make contact with, you can shift it back a little bit. As far as installation goes, it's pretty easy.
You just have a couple bolts, and you only need a couple tools to do it. Check out how I did it. We already removed our broken old handle. So, we're just gonna replace it with our parts. We'll do one at a time. So we're gonna line up this bolt head pattern with this bolt. It's gonna sit right there and we'll come back, and add in our bolt, our washer and lock washer. Just gonna start that by hand, hold it in place. It'll stay there. I'm not gonna fully tighten it down yet. I'll come back with the rest of the hardware, and the handle. So, I'm gonna put the handle on the outside here. We'll put our cylinder there, in the middle. It's gonna allow it to rotate while you turn the handle. And then, we'll use bolt and washer. Put our bolt through, and the handle, make sure the bolt head here is on the inside. And then we'll do a washer. And nut on this side. Try and get started without looking. Not blocking, so you can see it. There we go. Looks like it tight enough there, and I'll come back with tools, and tighten it down. And with that, your handle's installed. It's that easy, it was a really easy part to replace. And now you have a working winch. You didn't have to buy a whole new winch, and replace that, you can just buy this handle. And it's good to go again. Well, I think that does it. Thanks for hanging out, and I hope this helped..

The long bolt and nut for the rubber handle had damaged threads. I was able to use the one from my broken handle. No big deal for me but bad quality control.

- Replacements for a Fulton F2 Winch I check through the Fulton's replacement parts, and the # F0133313S00 would only replace the handle bolt needed. Unfortunately they do not have a replacement for that main shaft part. If the broken off screw cannot be removed, a new Fulton F2 # FW16000101 will need to be ordered. That being said, if you know someone that has access to a welder, this can be removed. Something small in diameter could be tacked on to where the head of the bolt broke off giving you enough purchase to back it out.
