Cargo boxes, bags, and baskets are great for transporting gear on your vehicle's roof. A cargo box has the added benefits of an aerodynamic shape that reduces drag and wind noise, a hard shell to protect your gear, and a higher degree of weather resistance. And you can latch and lock a cargo box for added protection against theft.
The Phantom has 18 cu ft of storage space for camping equipment, luggage, skis, snowboards, and other gear. The aerodynamic, low-profile design helps to reduce drag and wind noise, and the locking lid conveniently opens from either side of your vehicle. The box has internal tie-down points for securing cargo, and the Memory Mount system offers easy, tool-free installation.
Durable Construction
The Phantom's lid is constructed of durable, 3-layer ABS plastic with a transparent acrylic outer layer. This gives it a glossy finish yet it's still resistant to impacts, scratches, warping, cracking, and UV rays. The base is formed using an SPM injection-molding process that makes the box strong, durable, and lightweight. The injection molding also ensures a uniform thickness throughout and is 50 percent stronger than vacuum-formed boxes.
Sturdy, Dual-Side-Opening Lid
The Phantom lid opens from both sides for easy access to your cargo. This ensures your gear is always close at hand whether you mount the box in the center of your roof or closer to the driver's or passenger's side. The lid includes push buttons that allow you to easily open it with a single hand.
Safety Lock System
The Phantom has a safety lock system with locks on each side of the lid. The keys cannot be removed unless the box is closed and locked. This prevents you from driving off with an unlocked box. The locks also deny would-be thieves access to your gear and the cargo box's mounting hardware.
Memory Mount Installation
The Phantom cargo box installs with programmable Memory Mount clamps. After a one-time setup, the clamps will "remember" your vehicle's specific crossbars to make repeat installation quick and easy.
For the initial setup just place the box on your crossbars and insert the clamps through the tracks in the bottom of the box. The clamps adjust along the tracks to accommodate different crossbar spreads. Tighten the clamps with built-in knobs and flip the cam levers closed. The next time you install the box, the clamps will return to this set position when you close the cam levers - no further adjustment needed.
Cargo Tie-Down Points
Two included tie-down straps let you secure your gear to 4 internal anchor points built into the mounting clamps. Simply thread the nylon straps through anchor rings on the mounting clamps and wrap them around your gear. The straps secure with buckles that can be opened and closed with one hand.
Two strap hooks are also included. These hooks attach to the underside of the box lid and provide a place to hang the straps to keep them out of the way as you're loading cargo.

Speaker 1: Today on our 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee we're going to be doing a test fit on our Inno Rooftop Storage Box. It's going to be part number INBRM466BK. This is a low profile storage box, so it's going to be great for our skis or snowboards or other small storage devices. It's got a storage capacity of 18 cubic feet. It also features this locking mechanism to keep our supplies safe while we're out and about. To open it we're going to insert our key, turn it to the unlock position, push in on our button and lift up.
Inside the box we're going to have four clamps that secure it to our roof rack crossbars. We're gonna have these memory mount clamps. What's special about these, is that they have this dial here that's either going to expand or contract our clamp to make it fit onto our crossbars. We have this lever here that's gonna push it down in place and make it nice and tight. So in the box we're going to put it into our rubber track, make sure it's centered on our crossbar, push down and secure it.
Now all that's left to do is to load our gear into our storage box. Close the lid.One thing I do like about this particular storage box is that it has access on both sides so you can repeat the process over here. Insert in our key, push in the button and lift it up. This is gonna be great to access our clamps on this side. It's gonna make installation a whole lot easier.
It's also going to be advantageous if we're parked on the side of the road and we want to access it without being caught in traffic.We're going to move to the back. One thing you want to keep in mind when placing your storage box is to have it far enough forward that your rear hatch doesn't make contact when it raises up. That's just gonna prevent damage to our rear hatch and to the box itself. And as you can see we're gonna have plenty of room to access anything that's in the rear of our Jeep.That's gonna do it for our test fit on our Inno Rooftop Storage Box on our Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Great, high quality cargo box. Perfect size for my Land Cruiser. We are able to fit numerous items inside. Everything from beach chairs to small luggage/bags. Have traveled through numerous storms with no leakage. Very little if any noise while traveling on the highway. Highly recommend this product and doing business with etrailer. Best price and customer service.
The box is great! It was easy to put on/off and looks like it will be a great size for gear storage. I was disappointed by the delivery and handling. There was some cosmetic damage when it arrived. The side had been pushed in enough to make the black finish turn white. I would suggest being there to inspect the package upon delivery since this is coming by freight. I asked someone to do this on my behalf and that turned out to be a mistake on my part. Never the less it’s a great product, well built (it didn’t break from poor handling, and etrailer was great to work with.
