Correct EcoHitch Trailer Hitch and Wiring Harness for 2020 Kia Sorento EX Without Tow Package
Question:
I will add a class 3 hitch to a new Kia Sorento EX. I plan to purchase #306-x7320 ECOHitch 2inch class 3 receiver #18144 4 pole flat mounting bracket I believe the new vehicle does not have the factory tow pkg. installed so I think the #C56256 wire harness will be required. Id just like to have that confirmed. Is that all I need to provide a wiring connection at the receiver for the trailer connection?

I can definitely confirm for you the correct EcoHitch trailer hitch, wiring harness, and mounting bracket for your 2020 Kia Sorento.
The first thing is the EcoHitch, which you correctly noted for your '20 Sorento was the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7320.
In regards to the wiring harness for your Sorento sans towing package, the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56256 will work, but they are not the most reliable harnesses. For the most reliable trailer wiring harness I highly recommend going with a different brand, Tekonsha, and the correct fit for your 2020 Sorento is the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118583.
For a mounting bracket, since you are going with the EcoHitch, which does not have an exposed tube, you'll need something different than what you mentioned. In order to mount your 4-way to the EcoHitch I recommend a magnetic mount, the Eclipse Magnetic Mounting Bracket for 4-Way Flat Trailer Connectors # 306-X6019.
This will work wonderfully to keep your connector secure to the hitch on your Sorento. I have added links below to video reviews, including one of the mounting bracket so you can see how it works.
