The Zenith MasterFit has 14 cu ft of space for sports equipment, camping gear, or large luggage for up to 3 people. The aerodynamic, low-profile design helps reduce wind noise and drag. The locking lid opens from both sides, and it's designed to provide clearance when you open your rear hatch. Sliding clamps accommodate most crossbar styles and spreads so you can install the box in minutes without tools. And the durable yet lightweight ABS plastic construction helps to prevent warping, denting, or cracking.
The Zenith MasterFit lid opens from both sides for easy access to your cargo. This ensures your gear is always close at hand whether you mount the box in the center of your roof or closer to the driver's or passenger's side.
There is a lock on each side of the box. These locks prevent you from removing the keys if the box is not properly closed and locked. This eliminates the possibility of the box opening as you travel down the road. And because the buttons that lock the clamps to your crossbars are inside the box, locking the mounted box prevents would-be thieves from removing the box from your roof.
The Zenith MasterFit installs with easy-to-use clamps. These clamps fit most crossbar styles, and they slide along tracks in the floor of the box to accommodate different crossbar spreads. Large, easy-to-grab knobs with built-in locking buttons make adjustment simple. Press the red button to open the clamp, slide it into place over your crossbar, then turn the knob to secure it in place. The knob clicks when it's tight so you won't overtighten and damage your crossbars. Press the red button again to secure the clamp in place.
It includes 3 tie-down straps to secure your gear to 6 internal anchor points. These nylon straps have cam buckles so you can tighten them down to secure your luggage. Metal rails on the bottom of the box reinforce both the internal anchor points and the mounting clamp tracks.

etrailer: After placing the order, I called regarding shipping and quickly got the answer to my question. The box shipped by ground freight, and arrived almost a week before the original scheduled delivery date. The Rhino arrived perfect with protective wrap, and all the required parts.
Rhino Rack: This thing is awesome. Unless you jump up into the $1000+ price point, your rooftop carrier options are limited. My two requirements were to fit my skis (181 & 183 cm) and to allow my tailgate to open fully. The Rhino delivered! Bonus that both baby strollers fit as well (Instep baby trailer and Vista Uppababy).
Only a week in, but so far the Rhino box and MasterFit clamps seem solid. The ratchet/locking mechanism on the clamps is just ok, you don't have to twist too hard to over power the lock or feel like you are stripping something internally. The hinges are beefy, but don't take up a ton of storage space. It opens from both sides, and you can't remove the key unless it's locked, which is nice for those of us that don't enjoy picking up our stuff on the highway.
Also, if you're like me and spent way too much time on mr-box.com, you'll be pleased to know that this thing doesn't look lame. It's pretty sleek, somewhat low profile, with a touch of Euro. It's not too wide, even on the narrow rails of the A4 Allroad there's extra bar space. I could probably squeeze an upright kayak rack, small ski pinchers, or for the ten of us in the world that own RoadShowers...the RoadShower 4 fits no problem.
I definitely recommend a Rhino from etrailer.

Easy to install and my son’s lacrosse long poles fit with in the box with room to spare. We keep all of good sports gear up top so it doesn’t stink up the car. Looks good on my gti

Had this for a year and drove 5,000 miles with it on a BMW X4 M40i.The look is great, the inside locking mechanism is just average, the opening and closing of the box can be difficult, and the shape design limits so many types of items.

Capacity: 2 Stars (It is not just the cu ft but the way the inside is designed just makes it hard to fit so many items that one would normally haul in this box.)
When using this box, you realistically need a whole new setup of luggage. I would suggest sturdy medium and small sized duffels. That would allow cargo to mesh within the awkward internal box. Opening and closing the box can be a chore as well. If you have this box loaded it can be a chore to get this box open and try different sides.
Overall, the box has held up well and looks great but just the idea of most carbo boxes like this does give them some down sides. There are more squared off options out there that would be more practical.
If you care more about appearance and aerodynamics, this is a good fit for you.
Perfect fit for Rav 4 prime. Low profile but still big enough. Looks good quality and very easy to mount/use.

Fits my 2006 forester roof size nicely and on the factory cross bars. Tall and wide enough inside to snuggly fit my inflated 215/65/16 full size spare tire mounted on a rim with room to spare! The internal cargo tie down straps are kinda meh and the tie points could be beefier. The mounting brackets on the other hand are solid and user friendly. Got some rain last night and it all appears to stay dry inside. Locks feel solid; No wind noise that I can tell, looks sleek.
I thought this would be a nice roof rack but I was off a little bit, this is an awesome roof rack! Looking forward to placing it on my Rhino-Rack Aero bars. Delivery was right on time and I asked the freight company to deliver to my back door which they did do.

Great roof box overall. The lock mechanism tends to jam and it is difficult to get it to release. Lock and lock mechanism could be improved, otherwise good. Etrailer was great.

I bought this cargo carrier for my family's epic road trip last year through Utah's Mighty Five National Parks which included time at the Grand Canyon, Mesa Verde, the Four Corners, and Monument Valley. For 12 days over 4000 miles we used this carrier to haul our adventure gear of backpacks, trekking poles, shoes, and extra supplies. We drove through Kansas thunderstorms and dusty Arizona desert roads undergoing construction. This carrier never failed and kept our gear out of the way and secure.
It is light weight and easy to install by one person. It has very little wind noise for being a behemoth strapped to the roof. I noticed about 4 mpg loss in fuel economy but that is to be expected.
I love that you can access your gear from either side and that you can't pull the key out while it's open. That's a great reminder to close it which also locks it shut.
Overall, a great product at a great price. Delivery was by lift gate truck on a pallet which is ironic given how light weight it is.
We collected National Park stickers everywhere we went to attach onto the carrier. It's a fun reminder of all the wonderful places we've been together as a family.
Used this with Rhino racks on top of 2013 Hyundai santé fe. Quick and easy to install. Light enough to install myself without help. Only issue was tight spacing of the lock downs to the roof racks. With the roof racks as close together as possible (fore-aft) using the factory holes on the car roof supports this barely was able to lock onto them. However, I got it installed but it was very very close to not fitting, as could have used larger spacing on the cargo carrier.
The Rhino Rack is fantastic! It is the best carrier I have ever owned. Durable, Water Tight and locks securely to the overhead racks on my truck. I would recommend etrailer.com and the Rhino Rack to anyone.
