Replacement 3-Speed Switch for Dometic FanTastic Roof Vent

When we got to our site for a long stay we noticed that we had some electrical problems, just 2 after did some trouble shooting. One was our fan stop working, found that this switch went bad, ck web and as usual etrailer had the exact part number, its an easy plug and play to replace.
The other was a snap plug had not been snapped together, easy fix.
The fan now works like before and works fantastic.

Well here is an update for our switch. So far so good. Haven’t had an issue and switch still working. Fingers crossed for another year.

Bought a replace switch through [online vendor] and it stopped working within a month. Replaced it with this switch a year ago and it is still running my fan!1375236

A year later, my replacement switch has worked just great. These older van gems often need updates here and there. This product kept me from having to replace the entire fantastic fan. It works just as one wants it to and was easy to replace. Im still very pleased. Thanks etrailer!

This didn't work for my Fantastic vent fan. I don't know what model number of fan I have, but my RV is a 2007 and the Fantastic Fan has/had a rain sensor control system that didn't work. I thought that this 3 speed controller would work, but one lead goes to a PC board and I don't know where to locate that lead to my PC board, which is probably why my fan doesn't work. The switch was fine, just didn't work for my fan.1076822

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I cannot find what model fan you have either. The replacement switch you bought just changes the speed of the fan, so if the fan is not working you may need to replace the whole unit. This is the fan that works with the replacement switch:

The product was great, but didnt work for my application. I kept it and may need to use it the future.

My Fantastic vent fan model 3300 quite working, the fan motor worked with a set of jumper wires so Thought the problem might be the 3 way switch. After I received the new switch from etrailer it was a quick and easy job installing it. The fan now works like new. Finding the switch, ordering it and a quick delivery made it an easy fix. Still working like new.

Ordered 2 each replacement Fantastic Fan vent lids, lift crank assemblies and switches. etrailer had best pricing based on my internet search.

Items arrived quickly and were well packaged. I was pleased to discover that the replacement lids included the hinges. Changing out the lids was as simple as removing 4 screws from each old vent lid, fitting replacement lids, and reinstalling the old screws. Lift cranks and switches were exact replacements and also very easily installed.

Product was just as advertised. Connected the red +12 Volt line from the coach battery to the connection labeled "B" and the red lead to the fan connected to the lug labeled "M", since there is no circuit board, I left that unconnected.
Wala! Now I have my three speed ceiling ventilation fan back running.
Thanks for the great help and for having this obscure switch available for repairs.
I will use etrailer.com whenever I can for future RV solutions.
