Video Transcript for Review of Brophy Trailer Camper Jack Parts - Replacement Upright Pole - 1108

Ellen: Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're taking a quick look at the replacement upright pole for your Brophy camper jack. So something happened to your original pole, maybe it got bent or damaged or rusted out on you. This is going to be a direct replacement from the manufacturer to get you working again. So it's just going to be, as the name suggests, the upright pole. So we'll have our pulley up at the top.

There's a little slot in the bottom. So this is where that cable is going to rest along to lift and lower the frame that holds that winch to lift and lower our camper. So again, if maybe the pulley is not working right or it got bent somewhere along the way, and you don't have a way of replacing just that part, this is going to be the whole component. So it does come with the pulley wheel already put in place there, the bolt that goes through to hold the cable from coming up the top, and should be a pretty easy way to replace that portion without having to get the entire thing again. So again, just to give you a better, little closer view of that pulley, you can see that here, it's like a 3D movie, it's coming right at ya. So there we've got our hardware, the pulley in place to hold that cable.

Now, as far as measurements for this, just in case you want to be able to use this for a different application, I'll measure it from the top all the way down. It's about 75 inches tall from the center of our pulley, we'll do it from the top edge of that pulley, it's about 73 and a half inches long. The tube diameter is right about two inches. So two inches across and again should be a pretty easy way to replace that upright pole.If you need any other replacement parts, like the winch handle, the winch itself, that little tray that the camper sits, on or the base, we do have all of those replacement parts right here at etrailer.com so we should have everything you need to swap out any parts that might've failed on you. Other than that, that's pretty much all we have discuss with this guy.

I hope this has been helpful in deciding if this is the right part for you. It's always our goal to give you the information you need to make sure you get the right part the first time. We do have all kinds of accessories here at etrailer.com so check them out. I'm Ellen with eTrailer. Thanks for watching..

  • Can B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch be Moved From 1997 Dodge Ram to 1999 Ford F-250
I checked with B&W and it looks like there are enough differences between the 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 and the 1999 Ford F-250 that a completely new B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch is needed. Even the center piece cannot be transferred from one truck to the other as they use different ball and bolt hole locations to accommodate the truck style it is designed to fit. The brackets that would be needed for your 1999 F-250 are not compatible with your existing center plate. For your 1999 Ford...

TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum Trailer Hitch # TLD1108-30 weighs approximately 130-lbs. Shipping weight with all packaging materials is 135-lbs. SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch # TLD1108 weighs approximately 122-lbs, and with packing materials its shipping weight is 127-lbs. The weight difference is mostly due to the different sizes of main cross tube. The Original has a 3-1/2 x 3-1/2-inch cross tube while the Magnum has a 4 x 4-inch cross tube. Both include all necessary mounting hardware...

If you take a look at the attached install video we did of the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer part # BWGNRK1108 on a similar 2007 Ford F-350, you can see the rear crossmember rolled over the shock absorber mounting bracket at the 3:30 mark. Please note that the rear crossmember has three notches, one of which lines up with the shock absorber mounting bracket. What we found is that if you grab the rail with a set of vice grips, it is easier to roll over the shock absorber mounting...

The TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - 2" # TLD1108 requires no drilling in your frame to install. It will fit in the holes already in your frame using the bolts and plate washers using a fishwire. This is not a difficult installation, but using the fishing guide wire does take a little time. It is estimated to take a mechanically inclined individual who has not done this before about an hour to install. I've attached the installation details...

  • Can Short Bed Truck Tow Gooseneck Trailer with V-Nose
The angle of the nose of your trailer will definitely help with turning clearance. Especially since the coupler of the trailer is at the very front. It's hard to say just based on that if you'd have turning clearance for super tight turns but it does look promising. And for a short bed truck yours is on the longer side at 6-3/4 feet which also helps a great deal. So here's how you figure it out. You have to take some measurements and plug them into this formula otherwise it's just a "best...

The B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs # BWGNRK1108 is a fit for both bed lengths in a 2001 Ford F-250. The 8 foot bed and 6-3/4 inch bed will have the same measurement for the gooseneck ball hole. Measure from the tail gate end of the truck bed floor by hooking a tape measure over the end of the truck box and mark the floor at 47”. • Differences Between the TorkLift SuperHitch Original D1104 and D1108 for a 2015 Ram 3500
The difference between the TorkLift SuperHitch Original D1104 that has been discontinued and the part # TLD1108 that replaces it is a slight design change that allows the D1108 to fit the newer 2018 Ram 3500. Either one will still fit your 2015 Ram 3500 though. I have confirmed this with my contact at TorkLift. Both Original SuperHitch designs are made to work in conjunction with an OEM hitch that has been installed on the pickup. There is a small cutout in the trailer hitch that accommodates...

  • Recommended Gooseneck Hitch For A 2009 Ford F-250 Super Duty Pulling A Grain Trailer
The B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit # BWGNRK1108 will definitely fit your 2009 Ford F-250 Super Duty without issues. • Troubleshooting B and W Turnoverball Gooseneck Release Lever that Wont Release All the Way
I spoke to my contact at B&W about the issues you are having with the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit part # BWGNRK1108 on your truck.
