Placement of Gooseneck Ball with B&W Hitch BWGNRK1108 Installed in 2000 Ford F-250 8-Foot Bed
Question:
How far in front of the rear axle will the ball be on this hitch, BWGNRK1108, on a 2000 ford f-250 superduty with a 8 foot bed. I do not want a hitch where the ball is directly over the axle. I like the ball to be at least 2 inches in front of axle, but like 3 inches better. Like to have some weight on my front end for better handling. Thanks

In your 2000 Ford F-250 with 8-foot bed the B&W Gooseneck Hitch # BWGNRK1108 will install with the center of the ball positioned 47-inches from the rear edge of the bed. For this gooseneck hitch there is no front-to-back adjustment; it can only mount in this location.
