Can 3,000 lb Capacity Loading Ramp Handle 2,000 lb Vehicle

Question:

I have a 1923 T-Bucket that weighs less than 2000 lbs, these ramps are rated at 3000 lbs. if we're just talking weight only, should there be any reason i couldnt use these ramps? Remember weight only!

Yep, you can use them; since the total capacity is 3,000 lbs - 1,500 lbs per ramp - a 2,000 lb vehicle is definitely light enough for the ramps. The ramps come in a pair, and measure (individually) 65" long and 20-1/2" wide:

The 3000 lb capacity would mean that each ramp can handle a maximum of 1500 lbs applied to it or 3000 lbs for the pair. Since your tractor weighs 3500 lbs, I wouldn't use these ramps if the weight from both axles would be on the ramps at the…

I went to our warehouse and laid flat one of the Stallion ramps in the set #288-07489. The tallest point in the arch is where the yellow safety sticker is placed and at this tallest point the height (or thickness, if you prefer) is 3-3/4-inches.
