all in all, great hitch. “ INSTALLATION CAVEAT”the mounting holes are slotted, not round. this permits some shifting (sagging issues) if not installed level with the bolts tightened securely
Solid strong product. Only issue was one of the 4 weld nuts on the soul was too corroded for the very fine threads of the mounting bolts to hold. I had to tap it out to a 1/2”x13 SAE thread as I didn’t have a tap for an M12 bolt. Very difficult position and time consuming but it worked as well as the others in the end. The holes in the hitch mount plates were big enough to accommodate a larger bolt.
Great product like how it fits on my soul. But like alot of others have said could use some better packing, maybe some think dense foam for the corners etc.

Been great no issues thanks.
The product was shipped quickly and packaged well. All parts were present as was the packing list. Instructions were clear and straightforward. Installed this by myself, but 2 people would have been better and easier.
Note to others: Clean the threads before installing the bolts, this will make it considerably easier!
Perfect fit for 2015 kia soul ! Feels solid and well built. Would recommend
Nice, heavy & quality feel. Needed a 2" hitch for my Kia Soul to accommodate a heavy bike rack & older heavy trail bikes. I didn't want to buy a smaller hitch & use an adapter.

Works great. Not used for towing but handles my heavy bike rack very well.
Fits my 2015 Kia Soul perfectly. Easy to install and looks great. I plan to use it with an ebike rack and wanted the extra tongue weight capacity just to be safe. Recommended.
I’m 70 years old and installed this in my driveway by myself. I love the directions that come with the things I purchase from etrailer. They are accurate and easy to follow. I watched one installation video before I decided to tackle installing this trailer hitch receiver. The tip about cleaning the threads in the frame made my installation a breeze. You will never go wrong buying equipment from etrailer.

Clearance is about 10 inches from ground on a 2018 Kia Soul.
This hitch receiver allows us to mount our bike rack or cargo carrier to our Kia Soul. Pretty easy to install. Very durable. Hidden from view as well.
Once i found the bolts and instructions it all fit great!
The installation was straightforward and pretty easy. Instructions video are great and deliver was fast.
The hitch arrived in excellent condition sooner than I expected. I’m 74 years old and with the help of my wife and the floor jack we were able to install the hitch ourselves very solid and looks great behind my Kia soul. Thanks again.
I purchased this hitch to accommodate a electric scooter and carrier. The hitch itself is well built and well fitted to the Kia application I ordered it for. The installation was a bit complicated and required additional hardware. Overall I have been very happy with the hitch and the items I use with it. If you purchase this hitch just be aware you are driving a low profile vehicle and some driveway entrances will be a problem for racks or carriers.
SEdevice was great easy fit no problem here. We can carry our bikes on the Kia now. Happy

Been very nice year. The product still is working like new. The Kia uses less gas, therefore we use it to transport the bikes.
Very robust hitch that accepts 2" accessories. More than sturdy enough for my Kia Soul. The welds are very clean and sturdy. A well made, USA product. Etrailer support was the best.
Like a lot of people say great product but they need a better way to ship the hitch. Holes in box paint scratched, etc. So many people complain, why not find a solution to this problem. Bubble wrap, foam in place in box, something.
This was the perfect hitch for my e-bikes .
Installed easily fit perfectly.
The hitch itself was excellent quality and well built, although an old ball mount I've used on my truck for YEARS wouldn't slide into the receiver for some reason. The wiring kit sucked!! The passenger side wire that goes from the driver side tail light was 18" too short, so I had to splice it to make it work. The 4 flat pig tail was nearly too short, but it worked. The really bad thing that doesn't make sense, was the 20' foot black wire for power you have to run to the battery. It hooks to a red hot wire with a fuse. That's stupid. In the 12v world, you don't hook black to a red. I think the maker is going "cheap" on this product. As a kicker, the double sided sticky tape to mount the module inside the driver side tail light had no stickem left on it when the backing was peeled away. It's like it sat out in the sun for 3 years. The whole process of installing the light kit was about 6 hours. I don't think I'd do it again. I'd just buy another car. Now that it's done, I'm happy.
Part looks and feels very well built. Packaging was insufficient to keep it from being scuffed up quite a bit by the time it arrived here. I plan to only use this hitch receiver for a bike carrier on the back of my Kia Soul.
Fairly easy to install. Able to position snug up to bumper with decent ground clearance on my 2016 Kia Soul. Only the 2” square receiver is visible.

Still working great after a year now. Super solid, I carry a 6 bike mountain bike rack fully loaded with no issues.
This product fits my 2015 Kia Soul perfectly.
It is impressively built and well finished.
Only thing showing at the back of the car is the 2" hitch tube, all else is hidden.

The business end of the hitch tube broke through the packaging and got scuffed up during shipping. eTrailer sent me gloss black spray paint for free to refinish the scuff. It's back to perfect again.

There seemed to be paint over-spray (from the factory) in the weld nuts on my vehicle so the bolts really did not want to go in (even though I used WD40 and a wire brush first to clean out those holes). But I got them in with a lot of force. I suppose this could happen with any car... maybe.

With the roof rack already on this car, this 2" hitch, and my Thule Goal Posts, I can carry 4X8 sheets of plywood... on my Kia Soul !

eTrailer stuff helps turn just about any car into a hauling machine.
The hitch itself is excellent -- as solid as the Curt and Draw-Tite hitches I've installed. But the mounting bolts were awful. The threads were slightly wrong, enough so that I couldn't begin threading them in by hand. I ended up having to force them all the way in with a ratchet first, then back them out again before lifting the hitch. That added nearly an hour to the install since Kia left us with precious little room to work.
Once installed, the hitch is a solid product. But the lousy bolts turned a 45-minute job into an almost-two-hour job. By far the most difficult hitch installation I've done.
This hitch fit perfectly on my 2016 Kia Soul and has given me zero issues since install. The videos at etrailer were right on the mark too so that you can see exactly how this was to be installed.

Very handy to be able to rent a trailer to haul new furniture in and the old out. No issues with hitch at all.
