Speaker 1: Today, on our 2013 Nissan Rogue, we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Rhino Rack Roof Rack System. This is going to consist of the Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars, part number: RRVA126B-2; the Rhino Rack 2500 Series Leg, part number: RRRLKVA; and the fit kit for our Rogue, part number: DK146. Now, keep in mind that our crossbars are also available in silver, part number: RRVA126S-2.The Rhino Rack Roof Rack System is a great solution for carrying your vehicle accessories on your roof, whether those are bike racks, ski and snowboard carriers or cargo baskets. It's going to help free up space inside your vehicle, allow you to carry more passengers or more gear. The aerodynamic shape of our bars is going to help to reduce wind, noise and drag as well as the weatherstrip on the inside channel. If we remove our end cap, we can see that our weatherstrip is easy to remove. We can cut it down and place in channel-mounted accessories.Though we have a plastic lock core on our end cap for our crossbar, we do have the option to place in a metal lock core which will help to reduce theft and tampering of any channel-mounted accessories.
On our leg kit we do have a metal lock core and this is going to help to prevent theft and tampering of your roof rack system all together. Our fit kit is custom-cut to our vehicle, so it's going to give us a nice, secure fit when everything's tightened down. It's also going to have a rubber coating on any portion that touches our vehicle to prevent any scratches or abrasions. The Rhino Rack Roof Rack System has a 165-pound weight capacity, though you do want to double check your vehicle's owner's manual to make sure your roof can withstand that much weight. These crossbars themselves are going to measure at 49 inches long, though we do have longer options available on our site. You just want to make sure they don't extend out past your side view mirrors. The Roof Rack System is also going to come with a limited lifetime warranty and be quick and easy to install. We'll show you how to do that now.Everything that you see on our table is what we'll need for our install. We're going to provide our own flat tape measure, but our kit will include: Two crossbars.
Four legs for our leg kit, as well as four end caps. We're going to have four clamps and four pads from our fit kit. Four end caps for our crossbar. An included tool to tighten everything down. A key for our end caps for our crossbars and the keys for our leg kit. Now, we'll start off with our leg kit, removing our bolt here.
Take our clamp and place it over our leg kit and we'll start to tighten it down. Want to tighten it down just enough so that it holds our clamp into place. Then we can flip our leg kit over and remove the plastic bottom. We'll take our rubber bottom and secure that together. Once we have that completely closed up, we can place on the plastic portion, making sure that our arrows on each are facing out towards our clamp.
We'll place our leg kit onto our crossbar, sliding it into the channel at the bottom. Now, we'll measure out the inside channel here. You will have these inserts with your kit. They have the markings on them for your measurement. You can cut it down and place it into the channel. That will help to reduce wind, noise and drag. You can always use the extra on the outside edge as well, but for demonstration purposes we're just going to use our flat tape measure. We want that to measure out to 16.1 centimeters. Take our included tool and we can tighten down our bolt here in the center of our leg kit. We'll finish off this portion with out end cap for our crossbar and locking that into place.Once we have our vehicle doors open, we can place on our end cap, making sure that our clamps sit around our door frame here. Now, we'll measure out our crossbar spread. This is going to be from the center of the front clamp to the center of the back. Want to measure that out to 70 centimeters, and we'll do the same thing to the other side.Once we have everything in place, we can take our included tool and start to tighten our bolt down. Now, we'll know we have our bolt completely tightened down when the skinnier portion of our torque tool is completely straight, just like you see there. Now, we can take our end cap for our leg kit and lock it into place. We're ready to load up our accessories and hit the road. That's going to be our completed look at the Rhino Rack Roof Rack System on our 2013 Nissan Rogue.

This custom fit kit lets you mount 4 Rhino-Rack 2500 legs to your vehicle with a naked roof. Clamps mount to legs with bolts. Includes 4 clamps and 4 pads.I want to let you know that I really appreciate the help, speed and quality of service you provided to me.
Actually you saved the day for me, I was struggling with other web suppliers to order the roof rack, they were either not knowledgeable to know the correct configuration for my car or they did not have the part in stock and needed a long lead time.
My time was very short as I am moving in a few days, I called Rhino roof rack manufacturer and asked them who is their top dealer and they referred me to you.
I am very grateful for your help and the shipping the roof rack the same day I called!
I ordered a rhino rack and was pleased on how easy it was to install. Instructions were straight forward and I installed it in 30 minutes in my driveway by myself.
Thanks for the free expedited shipping. I have installed the roof racks and I am very pleased. I am attaching a photo of the installed racks. Thanks
I have had this roof rack system on my 2011 Nissan Rogue for a year now and it has held up great.
After 1 year the roof racks still look great. They are used weekly to transport Kayaks to the Adirondacks and have held up well.
I had a set more than one year and very happy with it. Very easy to put in and very strong build. Im carry a two kayaks weekly and Im glad I did right purchase from this site. And your video of installation just right. Thank you for your support!
Excellent quality, I bought because before I bought a cheap rack and start leaking water inside but the rhino rack is easy to install and a peace of mind no leaks no trouble .
Roof rack works fabulous. Use it for carrying my kayaks and never had an issue.
Really great! Does what it says it does, easy to use. The directions that came with it were bad, but I got all the info I needed off the internet. I have a bare roof Nissan Rogue 2012 and do a lot of canoe paddling.
Awesome service and speedy delivery!! Thanks, etrailer!

Worked great with no issues.
works very well
Looks fine. Haven't really evaluated it yet.
So far so good!!
Excellent product made very well
Ease of order, receipt, installation and excellent customer service is what I received in this order.
Thank you, e-trailer!
Takes a little while to assemble the rack bars.
The stickers are great I can mark the positions after measuring the distance between the bars.
One of the screws is underneath the bar; it is hard to reach to tighten the bars.
Finally, I got the roof rack installed and it looks good.
Pretty nice rack system. Held up to my 90lb canoe no problem. However a piece did fly off on the highway and the "locking" bar end cap can pull off super easy.
The directions were ok. There is some stuff you have to kind of figure out for yourself, mainly the roof trim. I plan to leave the rack on so I drilled theough the trim
Just followed all the etrailer website prompts for my naked roof Toyota Matrix and it set me up with the three packages needed- rails legs and fitkit. Installed easily enough. I like the little arrow stickers hidden in the door jams for fast re-install later. Held two 10’ kayaks on a 2 hr journey with ease.
This is a perfect fit for our 2015 Prius V with "naked" roof. Instructions were clear and accurate, and the bars are solid and able to support our canoe and kayak easily. We added the air deflector, as there was a bit of wind noise, but now there is none. Great product at much lower price than the big names.

After a year it is still in amazing shape. I haul lumber on it and the rubber strips on the top help my lumber from moving around and I have had zero issues with the rack. I mounted a go rhino kayak carrier on it as well and it works great and as expected.
