Should Wet Bolts be Torqued Down so Suspension Components Don't Move

Question:

I installed all new springs shackles and hardware. As well as a new flex equalizer. The instructions call for 30-50 lbs torque. This seems to tighten everything up to point it wont move. Is this correct and will move under load?

No matter what equalizers you are using, you never want to tighten down the bolts so much that your suspension won't move. This is the case even with the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC279688 that you referenced. If you were to torque everything down that much then your suspension wouldn't be able to flex and move and you would have a very stiff/rough ride. If the 30-50 ft lbs that you mentioned is making so the components can't move freely then the rule of thumb that we use around here is to tighten the bolts down until they are snug and then back them off slightly.
