Determining Correct MORryde CRE3000 Equalizer Kit For 2019 Heartland Fuel 352 5th Wheel Trailer

Question:

I own a 2019 Fuel 352 fifth wheel with dexter 7000 axles. I am looking at installing the Moreride cre3000 and a heavy duty shackle and wet bolt kit. I measured my axle and it seems to be 36 center to center. Will the Moreride 35 fit or am I doing something wrong. Please give me the part numbers as I want to do this as soon as the weather breaks here in PA. Thanks.

I reached out to MORryde and the MORryde Rubber Equalizers for Tandem Axle Trailers - 35" Wheelbase - 8K # MR27ZR you were looking at is designed for 35" axle spacing and would not work with your trailer with 36" axle spacing.

My contact at MORryde did recommend that you double check your axle spacing to see if you do have 35" axle spacing. You will need to measure from the center of the front most leaf spring hanger to the center of the rear most leaf spring hanger as shown in the included diagram. If this measurement is 61" you have 35" axle spacing.

If you find that you do have 35" axle spacing then the # MR27ZR would work for you.

If you find that your axle spacing is 36", I will need to know the length of your current equalizers measured from center of the horizontal mounting hole to center of the horizontal mounting. With this information I will be able to recommend the correct replacement equalizer for your trailer.

To determine the correct heavy duty shackle strap and wet bolt kit I will also need to know the length of your current shackle straps measured from the center of the hole to center of the hole as shown in the included diagram. For example if your current shackles are 2-1/4" you would need the MORryde Shackle Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers w/ 2-1/4" Shackles # MR46ZR

I included a demo video of the # MR27ZR for you to take a look at.
